FULL PARADE ATTIRE!!!!!!
Please have your 40SC pink blouse, 40SC black jacket, black felt hat or helmet, fuchsia wild rag, blue jeans. Horse needs 40SC black saddle pad, pink polo wraps. Depending on weather you can layer under parade attire. Gloves to be handed out at parade if they are to be used.
Please have your waivered filled out and either back to your Queen or mail them to FWSSR. I have placed the link below for you. They are due by Nov 30th, NO fax or email entries will be excepted. More information as it comes to us will be posted!
- All parade participants must review and sign a Participant Release Form. Release Forms must accompany the organization’s application at time of submission.
- Participants must carefully read and abide by all Parade rules.
- Health Papers: All horses and other equine are required to have proper health papers to participate in the parade or enter staging area. Riders must be in possession of health papers at all times. See ” Official Health Requirements” as provided in the application information for mandatory health requirements on horses and other equine.

H. Cooper Black for another Camp and Ride
located at 279 Sporting Dog Trail, Cheraw, SC for a winter ride. The trails are flat, sandy and well marked.

Enjoy a traditional Mardi Gras Parade continued with a chicken run and a grease pig chase.
Howard Venable road and surrounding roads will be closed from 6 am to 4 pm so arrive early. There will be parking at the Vcross ranch, we will shuttle to the Prince ranch.
Leatherwood Mountain Camp and Ride
Premier Equine Facility located in Ferguson , NC is a wonderful destination horseback riding vacation for you and your horses. Over 75 miles of beautiful NC trails to explore that consist of long woodsy paths along beautiful ridges, old logging roads, lots of creek crossings and minimal to long climbs and descents. The trails are safe, well marked and mapped. When you and your equine companion visit the heart of “Horse Country” you may never want to leave!

Croft State Park Camp and Ride with the Kings Mountain NC Chapter from Mar 7-10th.
This park located in Spartanburg, SC is widely popular and is known around the region for its equestrian facilities. The park regularly hosts shows in its arena and boasts more than 20 miles of equestrian trails. Mostly flat trails, rocky and roots in some areas.

Manchester Spring Trail Ride Camp and Ride
Located in Pinewood, SC
Reservations are accepted usually one -two months prior to the event. The event is a fundraiser for the Manchester Trail Riders Club. These folks put a lot of work into it and make sure everyone has a great time.
Mostly flat and sandy trails. Awesome trail ride with food, bands and vendors!
Water/Power at each site. Bathhouse on site. You’ll need to high line or corral your horse.

Parade starts at 4 pm and a current coggins is require s to participate. We will be in white shirts, black 40SC vests, black hats and Kelly green bandanas!

Come join the Laurens Club memorial for Mr Shull, spring ride. Primitive camping, generators allowed. Steak dinner on Saturday night with entertainment. Sandy road trails mostly. Caney Mountain Horse Camp in approx an 8 hour drive from Fort Worth. There are numerous videos on YouTube featuring Caney Mountain and all that it has to offer. It will be magnificent with all of the Spring foliage. This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself and your mount. They have guides and trails for all levels of riders. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN RESERVATIONS. There is a restaurant at the camp. It is near Big Flat. You will see a sign that says Leatherwood Wilderness and another sign that says 1118. Directions are on their website campsites are $30.00 per night no hook ups available generator only. uncovered stalls are $10 per night covered are $20 Water is available and there is a bath house.
Lee State Park Camp and Ride
487 Loop Rd., Bishopville, SC
Trails that run along the Lynches River. Sandy and flat terrain, no shoes nor boots necessary.
Each campsite has two horse corrals, as well as power and water. There is a bath house in the campground as well.

The Cabin Fever Run is produced by Genesis Parker & Megan Matsuura, two members of the Green River Chapter of 40 Something Cowgirls. The barrel races produced by thee two ladies are always well run, fun, family friendly, and a great time.
This race has $2000 added and is a 90% payback.
