Start 2024 off right…..IN THE SADDLE!! Come join us for a fun New Years Day evening of Open Arena Riding ($30/Person) and Ranch Sorting Practice ($50/Person). Dry ground and HEATED arena is ALWAYS a plus! See y’all in the saddle!
Friday – Sorting starts at 7:30 pm
Stay warm by the campfire sipping hot chocolate & campfire coffee
Saturday – 4 Man 4 Gate Penning starts at 10:00 am

CSSHA holds Sunday afternoon practices with cattle twice a month at Lander’s LOTRA indoor arena this winter. Take advantage of practicing with cattle and a CowTrac flag for herdwork and cow horse experience from 1:00-4:00 Sunday afternoons on the Sundays listed below. (Sorry, but no roping.) If you are a member of LOTRA and CSSHA, the practice is free. If you are not a member of the LOTRA arena, it’s only $30 per person for all afternoon! (No practice if it’s zero degrees or lower on that day!) Annual LOTRA arena memberships are available at https://lotra.org.

Need to get that pony out to stretch those legs? Come ride in some dry ground in a nice HEATED arena! We have open arena riding, flag work and cattle available to work on along with some coaching! Come see us! See y’all in the pen!
Come help gather the cows at Mildred Kanipe Park. Sam Campbell will be there to help organize the gather. Boots in the stirrup at 10am, so arrive early to tack up and warm up your horse if needed. A trail ride after for those that would like to participate.

There will be a Ranch Roping Jackpot as well. This will consist of 3 man teams/header,healer, and mugger. $75 per team/5 team minimum to compete. 75% payout for 1st/ roping starts after penning.

Come on out for the 24th Annual Oregon Equestrian Trails Mid-Valley Chapter Poker Ride.
Directions: North on 9th St, go 1 mile, Left on Heritage Hills Rd, then follow the signs to TE Ranch.
$10 per hand or 3 hand for $20 (minimum one hand per rider)
Minors (under 18 yrs old) need a parent or guardian signature.
First rider out 9 am * Last rider out 12 pm * Awards at 2: 30 PM
NO DOGS PLEASE!
