Kick summer off with an evening of rodeo action. From the classic event of bareback riding, saddle bronc, the fan favorite of bull riding, the pretty gals and fast horses of barrel racing and all the timed events as well.
Gates open at 6pm and rodeo action kicks off at 7pm.
Enjoy rodeo action at the professional level at the Red Desert Roundup PRCA Rodeo.
From the classic events of Saddle Bronc , bareback, the fan favorite of bull riding, and the pretty girls & fast horses of barrel racing. Don’t forget the classic timed events of team roping, steer wrestling, and calf roping.
Pre Show events may vary but they usually have mutton busting, teen cash scramble, and the adult cash scramble.

They run sponsor flags, grand entry, push cows, opening ceremony at gaming events, parades, and so much more!

We love the stock show and Rodeo, we practically live there! If you go, take a selfie and we will add you to the roster. Specifically, we will do the following events:
Grand Entry 1/23-Go Pink night -be at trailer parking by 5:30 traditional parade attire
Grand Entry 1/25 TCU Night purple shirts, black 40SC vest
Grand Entry 1/27 Rutledge at 11 am performance arrive by 9:00 with long sleeve white shirt, black vest.
Grand Entry 1/29 Military Appreciation night- black vest and white shirt- we will provide red bandannas

***GE walkover with police escort is 1 hour prior to performance
*** all performances need pink wraps on front legs and pink wild rag unless otherwise stated.
All long sleeve shirts must be button ups. Arena attire!

The cowgirls are attending the Sandhills Rodeo on January 12, 2024. We will meet for dinner at 6:00. The rodeo starts at 7:30.
Come join us for our Monthly Meeting and hear all about the fun things we do as a club.
We have lots of fun things planned and we will work on planning more events so bring all your ideas to the table and lets hear all about them.
We will also have a raffle at the end of the meeting and you won’t want to miss out on that for we have fun prizes to be won! 1 ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20. Graham TX chapter is participating in the grand entry for the 11:00 am FWSSR rodeo performance. We are allowed 5 trailer spaces for our participants. Official parade gear, negative Coggins and health certificate required. Be ready for the police escort to the arena at 10:00 am.
Come join us for our monthly roundup! This meeting we will be planning a couple different rides for Spring and Summer! Don’t miss this meeting if all possible!

If you haven’t joined us for dinner and a meeting to hear what all we have going on come join us at Charlie’s Old Fashioned Burgers in Royse City. We have such a wonderful group of cowgirls and have so many fun things coming up you won’t wanna miss it! Even if you are on the fence about joining 40 Something Cowgirls, come join us and meet everyone.

We had to plan our meeting a little later in the month than we normally do due to an event we had scheduled on our normal meeting time. But no fear we are here!! Come join us for a fun filled evening of fellowship with a bunch of cowgirls and hear about all the fun events coming up and even help us plan more! We are always open to suggestions for events.
We will also have a raffle for a prize give away. You won’t want to miss out on that because we give away some great prizes! Raffle tickets are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. No worries if you don’t have cash on you, we have Zelle. These 2 day event is filled with family fun adventures
Live Music, chili cook off, cornhole tournament, rattler team roping , mutton butting, crown of Miss Diamondback Jubilee Rodeo Queen , wild hog sacking just to name a few
Join us for a practice Mounted shooting session March 30, 2024 10 am – 2 pm, priced at $20 per person. You can either bring your own blanks or purchase 10 blanks from us for $7.
Afterwards, enjoy a fun filled day with the 40SC moving cattle in the arena and some lively line dancing with Cowgirl Melanie Bourque. Don’t forget to bring your own Berverage.
