Our monthly meeting that usually falls on today’s date will be scheduled for next week 🙂 Today, we will be heading out to Caliber Equine LLC in Quinlan for a tour and demonstration of a couple things they have to offer.

Macon County Horse Association Spring Fun Show. 10 a.m. at Fairgrounds. There will be all the normal fun show activities plus speed events. Come out and play with your horses and challenge yourself with these fun games. There will be a concession stand with food & drinks so remember to bring cash. I would suggest lawn chairs, coolers with water & drink, snacks, and plenty of stuffed hay bags. You can even bring pop-up shade tents.. contact me or Lynda for info and/or directions. Comanche Rodeo parade and grand entry. Line up no later than 4pm for judging on West Grand Ave in front of the Comanche Funeral home, Comanche Tx. Full parade attire-pink button down, pink polo wraps on front only, straw hat or helmet, pink scarf. Black saddle pad. Negative Coggins will be checked.

The award ceremony will be June 23, 2024 at 1 PM! The chuckwagon will be serving up hamburgers and hot dogs with chips or fries for all attendees 🍔.
You do NOT have to be present to receive an award. Buckles will be presented to Champion and reserve Champion. If you have someone you wish to designate to choose your award please do so and let them know.
4th of July parade. Line up starts at 7am and parade begins at 9am. Rain or shine (unless its dangerous weather). Parking will be in the waterpark parking lot.
We will be participating in the Park Street 4th of July Parade again this year. Everyone come join us!!
We will meet up in the parking lot of the Family Fellowship Church parking lot to get ready. Bring all your patriotic decorations and decorate those horses up and wear your best patriotic outfit you can find!! Come early enough to be ready for lineup at 9:00 am parade starts at 10:00 am.
There are lots of things going on before and after the parade so look up North East Texas Community Events on Facebook and check out their flyer as to all that is going on. For instance: Park Street Baptist Church hosts a free pancake breakfast starting at 7:30 am with donations being much appreciated, Complimentary watermelon after the parade, ETC. At dusk it all moves over to the Greenville sports park with the Bottle Rocket Bash.
**PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING A BUCKET AND POOPER SCOOPER AND CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR HORSES** This is a must in order for us to be welcomed back and able to park in the church’s parking lot.
Come out early to save the best spots on the parade route, we want you to enjoy the St Paul 4th of July Parade with us. Parade will start at 10:00am from the High School, goes through town and around the Rodeo Grounds.
2024 Theme – “A Portrait of St Paul”
This parade will take place on Saturday, July 6th. We will meet at the Lone Oak High School parking lot. There will be plenty of parking for trailers. Be there @12:30 to allow plenty of time to decorate horses and be ready for the parade which starts at 2:30.
Rider parade attire: Your best RED, WHITE, and BLUE attire.
Come join us for the parade and then we will head to Texas Roadhouse for a tall glass of sweet tea and a steak dinner.

Cost: $10 an event or 5 for $40 cash or zelle

Macon County Horse Association Spring Fun Show. 10 a.m. at Fairgrounds. There will be all the normal fun show activities plus speed events. Come out and play with your horses and challenge yourself with these fun games. There will be a concession stand with food & drinks so remember to bring cash. I would suggest lawn chairs, coolers with water & drink, snacks, and plenty of stuffed hay bags. You can even bring pop-up shade tents.. contact me or Lynda for info and/or directions. If you need a ride and pick up your horse let us know.
