Come join us for a fun filled night of fellowship and sisterhood with a special educational presentation by LCI Merritt Livestock Insurance regarding the ins and outs of equine insurance. How it works, the pros, the costs, etc.
We will be having a pot luck dinner, so let us know what you will be bringing to share. Let us know if you need an idea of what to bring. See y’all there!!! 🙂
March is going to be a busy month, lets kick it off with our monthly round-up. Join us at 6:30pm for snacks and catching up, meeting will start at 7:15pm.

Meeting at the Alumni Building before we start coggins clinic over at Fairgrounds. Please bring your suggestions and ideas for rides, camping trips, summer horse swimming, and Christmas parties. I truly want to set up a Christmas gathering date at this meeting. And I want to discuss the amazing success our chapter has had and the positive impacts we are making in our community.

I would suggest lawn chairs, coolers with water & drink, snacks, and plenty of stuffed hay bags. You can even bring pop-up shade tents.. contact me or Lynda for info and/or directions. If you need a ride and pick up your horse let us know.
SPRING 2024 PLAYDAY SERIES includes barrels, poles, 2 pole stake race, and straight away barrels.
Age Divisions: Lead Line, 0-8 Years, 9-13 Years, 14-18 Years, 19-30 Years and 31+ Years
$5 per event – $20 One time series fee – One horse per rider to be enrolled in the series, multiple horses allowed in the Playday

We will be going over some St Paul volunteer information, we have some fun events coming up and Corporate has a special request for us. Our new 40 Something Cowgirl (volunteer) hats will be here soon. We would like to get a photo of the volunteers in their cute new hats, Corporate would like to see all your pretty faces.
Its Roundup time! This month we’re meeting at the NETX horse sale at Jared Lesch. Friday is the sale preview. There will be live music, Complimentary cookout, Vendors, and more! Lets meet up, Look at some pretty horses, and maybe plan some stuff!

Come meet and greet and see what we are all about. I can’t wait to see you all. There is no cost to meet at Figaro’s but I will purchase a couple of pizzas. Maybe show support of a wonderful local business with the purchase of a soda, but do not feel obligated. 🙂

Come out early to save the best spots on the parade route, we want you to enjoy the St Paul 4th of July Parade with us. Parade will start at 10:00am from the High School, goes through town and around the Rodeo Grounds.

Things to think about for the meeting…what do you want to see happen in our chapter, how can you contribute? What events might you like to see added to the calendar and can you commit to rounding up cowgirls on a roster for your events?

Come hang out at my house for a Potluck Meeting! Just do not mind the chaos of a very busy family home and lots of unfinished projects lying around and we will do great! LOL
On the Facebook event on our 40SC Rochester page, there is a comment with a Poll that you can indicate what you would like to bring if you plan on attending. But do not feel pressured to bring anything, we want you to show up even if you cannot bring anything! 🙂

Meeting at Deep Creek Horse Camp to attend the newly formed Southern Highlands BCH in our riding territory. Bring a lawn chair and your choice of snacks and beverages, adult beverages are permissable.
A few chapters are teaming up to resurrect the old Shawnee Trail Ride in Pottsboro, TX. Frontier Days in Pottsboro was started around the wagon train on its way through town, following the old Shawnee Trail that moved cattle from Dallas to Missouri and crossed the Red River at Preston Point. The Trail Ride disappeared about 20 years ago and we’re bringing it back! Join us for the planing if you want to participate in the planning.
This will be the meeting to finalize all things Prize Ride.

Full use of Mountain Trail Course and outdoor arena. Overnight Stalls and Camping available.
Please leave no trace…all manure, straw, shavings, hay, etc. needs to be picked up and disposed of before leaving. When you are ready to leave, please notify a staff member and they will check your area and return your haul in fee once cleaned. (Check with staff when signing in, but I believe the haul in fee is separate from the $25 per horse per day fee) 🙂
