Our monthly meeting that usually falls on today’s date will be scheduled for next week 🙂 Today, we will be heading out to Caliber Equine LLC in Quinlan for a tour and demonstration of a couple things they have to offer.

They have a bar car that houses a full bar to serve up craft beer, mimosas, bloody marys and so much more.
They will run this ride rain or shine, please come dressed for the weather.

Come out and play with your horses and challenge yourself with these fun games. There will be a concession stand with food & drinks so remember to bring cash. I would suggest lawn chairs, coolers with water & drink, snacks, and plenty of stuffed hay bags. You can even bring pop-up shade tents.. contact me or Lynda for info and/or directions. The Polk County Master Gardener Association Plant Sale is coming up Friday, May 10th 9:00 to 4:00 and Saturday, May 11th, 9:00 t0 2:00.
Cheers to the returning Country Store, beautiful annuals, trees and shrubs, perennials, herbs, hanging baskets and a few specialty plants.
They are adding a new children’s area this year where children will, for $1, be able to plant a Marigold in a colorful plastic pot for their mom and take home a small scoop of Marigold seeds to plant in their yard. This table will be staffed by members of one of their 4H Horticulture groups who will also have information on the 4H groups in Polk County to give to kids who come to the table.
They will also have 5 to 6 raffle items to be raffled off on Saturday at noon.
