40Sc and MCHA team up to perform trail maintenance. Bush hogging, weed eating, tree removal, and litter pick up. There will be side by sides to carry all the coolers, chainsaws, gas, and hand tools. Tractors and mowers will be up mowing on trails behind ground crewas removing tree obstackkles. We are planning to clear the entire loop of Big Indian, Blackwell, Hurricane Creek, trail up to Albert Mntn, Thomas Branch and the campground. We will be camping at Hurricane Creek Primitive Campground. Volunteers coming in with horses arrive at 10am each day. Bring gloves, drinks, and your lunch and snacks,
Camp ground is &6 per day, you will need all your own horse containment system and supplies, feed, hay, water etc..
If you get a chance, please try to go and help tend to the trails at Mingo whether you are a member or not. Seems we all go here so often – we should definitely be there to help! Thanks in advance!
