We are meeting at Rhonda’s place in Pecan Plantation. Don’t speed in Pecan Plantation, they are serious about their speed limits.

Caney Mountain Horse Camp in approx an 8 hour drive from Fort Worth. There are numerous videos on YouTube featuring Caney Mountain and all that it has to offer. It will be magnificent with all of the Spring foliage. This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself and your mount. They have guides and trails for all levels of riders. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN RESERVATIONS. There is a restaurant at the camp. It is near Big Flat. You will see a sign that says Leatherwood Wilderness and another sign that says 1118. Directions are on their website campsites are $30.00 per night no hook ups available generator only. uncovered stalls are $10 per night covered are $20 Water is available and there is a bath house.

One of our favorite events! Come watch the camels, ostriches and zebras race! Gates open at 12 but races don’t start that early. We have two days of racing, so take a selfie and message me with your number to get on the roster!

Franklin Cowgirls – Line dancing classes to raise money for Otto Fire Department. Meet at 6:15pm at the Otto Fire Station, Down in Ottoi off Georgia Rd. Bring $5 dollars required donation. We are headed on vacation with our horses. Trail rides all weekend! There are hook ups for LQ trailers and room in the house if you don’t have a trailer to sleep in! Space is limited, so let us know if want in!
