Cowgirls, this is a local opportunity to hear a great “Author, Humorist & Playwright”, Michael Johnson. Michael lives in our own Campbell, TX. I had the opportunity to hear him at a Lazy TK Ranch event in Breckenridge a couple of years ago. Such a fun Cowboy gentlemen with stories to tell. Tickets are free to the public, with donations appreciated! Plan your calendar and save this evening! Please plan to wear your 40SC Gear and make a showing… and fork up those donations! It will be good for the Theatre and great for Michael’s fans!

The Farmersville Cruisers will be traveling from East Texas to Galveston together for some shopping, eating, and fueling along the way. Arrival is planned for ??? Trouble is just beginning!!!

Karen Wiggins will be Hosting this Roundup and providing hospitality for a relaxed evening. We want everyone to bring your favorite “Salad” for dinner. This could be a meat (like taco), or veggie, or pasta, or fruit salad. Please message Karen to let her know what you might bring so that we can cover the basics. Our challenge this month is BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage)! Invite a new Horse Friend and come on to meet us!!
Meeting at Deep Creek Horse Camp to attend the newly formed Southern Highlands BCH in our riding territory. Bring a lawn chair and your choice of snacks and beverages, adult beverages are permissable.
This will be the meeting to finalize all things Prize Ride.
Cowgirls will be serving up Hot Dogs and Drinks to the Atwoods patrons during the morning and through lunch!

Come join the Newberg Cowgirls for their 4th Annual Prize Ride Saturday September 21, 2024. There will be over a $1,000.00 in prizes – grand prize, tack, home decor and more!!!

Each vehicle must pay their own $5.00 park fee
Please clean up after your horse in the parking area
Winner MUST be present to receive prize
NO alcohol, stallions, riderless horses or dogs
ALL riders under the age of 18 MUST wear a helmet
Come join us for our October monthly roundup meeting/prize ride recap. We will go over the prize ride and put some dates out to visit the rescues we chose to donate to this year. We’ll be putting together ideas for fall/winter weather adventures.
