Macon County Horse Association Spring Fun Show. 10 a.m. at Fairgrounds. There will be all the normal fun show activities plus speed events. Come out and play with your horses and challenge yourself with these fun games. There will be a concession stand with food & drinks so remember to bring cash. I would suggest lawn chairs, coolers with water & drink, snacks, and plenty of stuffed hay bags. You can even bring pop-up shade tents.. contact me or Lynda for info and/or directions. If you need a ride and pick up your horse let us know.

Franklin Cowgirls – Line dancing classes to raise money for Otto Fire Department. Meet at 6:15pm at the Otto Fire Station, Down in Ottoi off Georgia Rd. Bring $5 dollars required donation. Franklin Camping at Deep Creek Horse Camp in Bryson City down the road to the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park Deep Creek Entrance. Must Call James Clark at 828-736-1270 to make reservations – he does not take online reservations. Once settled into to the beautiful camp alongside the beautiful creek go pick out at trailer from his numerous stock trailers available for guests to go explore different sections of the park with endless horse trails. Campground has electric and water hook ups, and dump station at departure.
Back Country Horsemen of North east Georgia is holding the annual Rendenza at Whetstone Horse Camp – please contact Katie Adams for site reservations and accommodations and meal tickets. All day riders are to be present and ready to ride out at 10am from the day parking area.

Amy Nelson has reserved a group camping area, $75 per person/horse combo, $25 per person, non riders. Your payment to Amy will reserve your spot. Space is limited.
