It’s that time of year… Coggins and vaccines will be offered. Come out and help support the Howard County Youth Horseman Club… Please call or text 806-786-7122 and reserve a spot… All are encouraged and welcomed..
Grab your branding iron and come on over to Shaner Farm.
Duane Poole, the branding man, will be there to place the brands. Branded horses are less likely to be stolen, plus it looks cool!

We ride out at 10:00 Rails to Trails on Cartwright Pk Rd IN Weatherford. Lunch afterwards at Skinny’s Hamburgers
Come out and enjoy watching some amazing people from the Rustic Farm group put on a de-spook clinic. All spaces for the actual clinic are taken, but it will be a fun time to watch. All Cowgirls are welcomed and needed to be on the ground to help where needed. Cowgirl gear please. BYOB, a snack, and a lawn chair if wanted.

Please contact Joelle to RESERVE your spot and time. Certified equine dental team Barbara Brooks and David Kelly will be performing teeth floating and sheath cleaning. Cost is $100 for Teeth/Sheath or if you just need Sheath it’s $30. Please bring CASH or CHECK for payment, as well as some extra cash for our Boot for our two charities! We are keeping this a MEMBERS only event, unless we can’t fill all our time slots. So if you have a friend that needs this service, let Joelle know so we can put them on our reserve list.
This event will be held at Donna and Tim Frye’s farm, plenty of parking, complete pull through. Use 2455 Charlotte Hwy., York, SC in your GPS. When you arrive, use the entrance to the pasture with the gate. Do NOT go down the private drive to the home.

Join us at Leatherman Lane to celebrate horses and help raise money to battle Breast Cancer. Annual event that features various vendors, food, live music and of course horses. There is a planned trail ride!!!!One of our charities we support Cleveland County Hearts and Hooves, will be there to highlight there important work with our awesome participants from North Shelby School, Shelby, NC. Cowhand challenge!(sorting, penning, etc). All proceeds go to Rutledge Cancer Foundation! We will have a chuck wagon lunch available for purchase . This event is a benefit. Cowgirls only will have buckles to the winning team. The open division will have a payout. 4 man teams. Pre registration is encouraged and there will be a $50.
