The cowgirls are attending the Sandhills Rodeo on January 12, 2024. We will meet for dinner at 6:00. The rodeo starts at 7:30.

Come join us at the 66th Annual Worlds Largest Rattlesnake Round-up… Even if you don’t like snakes, it’s always a great weekend. All kinds of information about the nasty death noodles, but also, all kinds of vendors and food… Again, a fun, informative family weekend… All are welcome…If you go, just take a picture of you there and send it to Terri….
I have set up a clinic and campout with Robbie at his place for 40SC Members. Clinic will focus on horsemanship and communication with your horse and Robbie will work with each person on where they are with their horse. We will also work a little on trail, obstacle, flag/cow work and setting your horse up for success.
There is a hotel close if you don’t have a LQ trailer. Limited spots available so contact me ASAP to register. We will also take a run over to Teskeys for a little tack shopping as the ranch is close to Weatherford. Once we know who all is going we will do a little more planning for meals, etc.
Come out and enjoy watching some amazing people from the Rustic Farm group put on a de-spook clinic. All spaces for the actual clinic are taken, but it will be a fun time to watch. All Cowgirls are welcomed and needed to be on the ground to help where needed. Cowgirl gear please. BYOB, a snack, and a lawn chair if wanted.
Everyone needs to go join in on the 90th year celebration of the Cowboy Rodeo and Reunion. Its always a great show of athletes, music, and people. This year they will have Aaron Watson and Kevin Fowler playing after the rodeo. Trainer Magen Allen will be coming to Shenandoah Bar M Ranch for a special 2-day clinic. Magen is a true all-around trainer with a background in everything from ranch, roping, barrels, and reining to western pleasure, English, and jumping. She is a Reserve World Champion with multiple other top 5 placings.
The clinic will be a general horsemanship clinic focusing on the goals of the individual riders. The cost of this 2 day clinic will be $200 or $40 to audit. Space is limited to 15 riders. Hurry to secure your spot with a $100 deposit now!
