Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled from 1/13/24 to 1/27/24.
One of our cowgirls is hosting a equitation workshop at 1 PM at her private residence. At 3 PM, the same member will host a browband making workshop. Space available for 6-10 participants. Cost is about $10 for leather, plus any bling you would like to add.

MEMBERS ONLY 1:00 pm Pool Party at Queen Joelle’s! Food will be provided, but bring your favorite beverage, pool float and sunscreen. There is also shade available. Please RSVP by June 14 so we have a head count by checking “Going” on this Event via the 40 Something Cowgirls Facebook page.
Camp out and ride the beach! Dry camping – $30.00 per rig per night
Camping w/power – $35.00 per rig per night
Outside corrals per night or day use or your own corrals – $15.00 per horse. (You clean & feed.)
Barn Stalls – $35.00 per horse per night
(Bring your own bedding, you clean and feed.)
Rooms are also available in the B&B for $150 per night..

Our chapter is helping with Rodeo parking on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1st.
This is a fundraiser for our chapter!
We need a minimum of 6 people each day (on horse or on foot). This is a rain or shine commitment. If you commit to helping, please follow through.
You need to be ready to go by 9 AM each day. The rodeo gates open at noon and the show starts at 1:30 both days.
Each participant will receive a ticket for entry to the rodeo and a ticket for lunch.
Please wear a 40SC shirt if you can. If you don’t have a 40SC shirt, a pink shirt will be fine.
We are also inviting our neighboring chapters to help.
Let’s go have some cowgirl fun and get those cars parked!
Join us at Leatherman Lane to celebrate horses and help raise money to battle Breast Cancer. Annual event that features various vendors, food, live music and of course horses. There is a planned trail ride!!!!One of our charities we support Cleveland County Hearts and Hooves, will be there to highlight there important work with our awesome participants from North Shelby School, Shelby, NC. We have our Boot there for Donations. Please bring cash so you can help another great cause! Join our cowgirls as we attend a Scavenger Hunt on horseback in the Uhwarrie National Forest.
Event to benefit Back Country Horsemen o Uhwarrie in their goal to keep the trails open to equestrians .
