3rd Annual Coggins clinic for Macon and surrounding counties. Dr. Jessica Scruggs, DVM will provide services. cowgirls will assistance to horse owners and Dr. Jessica. will assist with paperwork and handling of horses.
This event is for auditing the clinic only. Cost to audit is $30 cash per day. SAFE volunteers and adopters can audit for FREE.
Bring your own chair, lunch, snacks, beverages.
Groundwork Class: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Riding Class: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Robbinsville Community Coggins clinic for Graham and surrounding counties. Dr. Jessica Scruggs, DVM will provide services. cowgirls will assistance horse owners and Dr. Jessica. We provide all advertising, forms, chairs, canopies, and tables, and will assist with paperwork and handling of horses. Bring your big trailers for comfort and bathroom facilities. This is another community volunteer project so I hope all you cowgirls can come. Please wear your Cowgirls shirts or pink shirts to represent out 40SC chapter
This clinic will be in a large parking lot at Midway Tire and Automotive 185 Sweetwater Rd, Robbinsville, NC
We will meet at Hot Spot in Franklin or New Ingles and convoy over the mountains.

Just in time for your show season! Please join for an educational seminar on Safety and Preparation for Horse Shows.
Chris Wickliffe, DVM, will explain the importance of being prepared and safe during your horse shows, and how to ensure a good experience for both rider and horse.
Look forward to learning:
- Things you can do to ensure your horse will be protected against diseases
- Precautions you can take to avoid injury to your horse with travel and exercise
- A mental check list of all things you should be checking and preparing before travel
- Much more!
This seminar is not limited to those in more competitive show rings! It offers valuable information to anyone who takes trip with their horses (trail riding, camping, OHSET, 4H)

Macon County Horse Association Spring Fun Show. 10 a.m. at Fairgrounds. There will be all the normal fun show activities plus speed events. Come out and play with your horses and challenge yourself with these fun games. There will be a concession stand with food & drinks so remember to bring cash. I would suggest lawn chairs, coolers with water & drink, snacks, and plenty of stuffed hay bags. You can even bring pop-up shade tents.. contact me or Lynda for info and/or directions. If you need a ride and pick up your horse let us know.

Come enjoy an Amazing Clinic with Patrick Sullivan of Gamilah Unbridled & Modern-Day Horsemanship
Each day, participants will receive 2 one on one sessions with their horse. Due to the individualized teaching, they welcome participants of all skill levels. Their niche is liberty and bridleless riding, but participants are welcome to use their sessions as they’d like.
This clinic will end with liberty games Sunday Afternoon!
Cost: Participants $675 for 3 days, Auditors $35 per day.

Full use of Mountain Trail Course and outdoor arena. Overnight Stalls and Camping available.
Please leave no trace…all manure, straw, shavings, hay, etc. needs to be picked up and disposed of before leaving. When you are ready to leave, please notify a staff member and they will check your area and return your haul in fee once cleaned. (Check with staff when signing in, but I believe the haul in fee is separate from the $25 per horse per day fee) 🙂
