In celebration of our Chapter’s fantastic year and the Birth of our Lord, we are gathering to celebrate each other and our growing horse friendship. We will have an exciting party at Sweetwater in a designated private area. It may be loud… but so are we!!!

Advanced Emergency First Aid/ Wilderness Edition or Indoor Edition
Join us for a one day advanced equine emergency first aid course and learn what to do in the most extreme situations! Covering everything from lacerations to poison, burns to bites, fractures to sucking chest wounds, this course prepares the student to handle the most serious injuries while waiting for the vet. We will also cover horse assessment, conformation, and conditioning for activities. $159.00
If you take this course in combination with “Equine Health & Emergency First Aid” , the discounted package price is $295 for both courses.

Our monthly Grub night will be on January 25, 2024 at Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant on Foothill Blvd. We will be discussing upcoming events, year end awards party, holiday party, slush funds, memberships and much more. The workshop is hands on demo. We make Rustic Sourdough Boule, Together and the instructor walks you through step by step. All participants take home some of the very active wild yeast sourdough starter. The instructor also will bring a variety of yummy wild yeast sourdough treats to enjoy.
*** Due to Show Schedule, we have a revised date!*** A few of us will be attending the first of a Series of Ranch Horse Shows at Arrowheart Ranch. Monthly dinner gathering will be at Los Cabos on February 27, 2024 at 6:30 pm. Kari won the basket, so she will bring it to this dinner. We decided to donate a buckle for the Sweetwater Ranch Sort Club, and also for the Wild West Outlaws gymkhana 40 and over age group. Slush fund is $492.00. before the deduction for buckles.
