CSSHA holds Sunday afternoon practices with cattle twice a month at Lander’s LOTRA indoor arena this winter. Take advantage of practicing with cattle and a CowTrac flag for herdwork and cow horse experience from 1:00-4:00 Sunday afternoons on the Sundays listed below. (Sorry, but no roping.) If you are a member of LOTRA and CSSHA, the practice is free. If you are not a member of the LOTRA arena, it’s only $30 per person for all afternoon! (No practice if it’s zero degrees or lower on that day!) Annual LOTRA arena memberships are available at https://lotra.org.

We have such a wonderful group of cowgirls and have so many fun things coming up you won’t wanna miss it! Come help gather the cows at Mildred Kanipe Park. Sam Campbell will be there to help organize the gather. Boots in the stirrup at 10am, so arrive early to tack up and warm up your horse if needed. A trail ride after for those that would like to participate.
