The cowgirls are attending the Sandhills Rodeo on January 12, 2024. We will meet for dinner at 6:00. The rodeo starts at 7:30.
The cowgirls are headed North to Lubbock for the Wooly Winter Open Show at Texas Tech Equestrian Center. The shows starts with Halter at 8:00, and will likely last until 5:00 p.m. or later, ending with Ranch classes. Check out the following URL for more information:

Put on your beads and get ready to party! Mardi Gras season is winding up. Let’s kick it off at Jennifer’s birthday bash!
The workshop is hands on demo. We make Rustic Sourdough Boule, Together and the instructor walks you through step by step. All participants take home some of the very active wild yeast sourdough starter. The instructor also will bring a variety of yummy wild yeast sourdough treats to enjoy.

We will be cooking hot dogs and smores on an open fire. Bring a horse related item valued at $10 or less for a game. Come prepared to have fun!

This will be our second obstacle play day at Kim’s house. If you didn’t come the first time, you missed out on a good time. Kim has an unbelieve obstacle course set up at her home and changes it up on a weekly basis. This course will be a St. Patty’s Day Theme. It’s $40 per person and you need to bring a side dish to go with Taco Soup for our potluck lunch!
The monthly roundup of the Stanton, TX chapter will be at Fat Birds in Midland, TX.
Cowgirl Meghan is moving back to Florida. Join us to give her a proper send off. Bring your favorite dish and/or beverage.
Park at 622 E Sunnyside and ride down the hill to the arena by the river.
We will be riding in the Mule Day Parade. Meeting in Rotary Park and following the parade route.

The Old Sorehead Trade Days is an opportunity to shop dozens of local vendors.
Exhibitions start at 11:00 am.
Shenandoah Bar M Ranch welcomes the cowgirls to visit the Ranch during the Shenandoah Bar M open house event.
Beginning at 9:00 a.m., the public is invited to tour the facility during which time a light breakfast will be provided. Tours of the property will be given. We will ride at 12:00. As a group, we can decide whether to do an arena ride, obstacle course, trail ride, or all three!
Exhibitions start at 11:00am.

The monthly meeting of the Stanton, TX chapter will be at Torchy’s tacos in Odessa. Come enjoy good food and good company.
We will meet at the fairgrounds and ride over to the parade lineup area and around some of the side streets to get the horses used to riding around town.
