We have a monthly Craft night on the 3rd Tuesday of Every Month. They will be held at Joy Haut’s house. We will select the craft during our Monthly Roundup the previous month, to give Joy time to get all the supplies.

January – We will be making Valentine’s Day decor – A rag garland and Gnomes.

Come join us at Queen Candace’s for some fun games!  We will switch it up from time to time on what games we are playing, but it will always be a great time. Bring a snack to share, Punch and water will be provided.

January – BackFire – If you don’t know how to play, we will teach you. It is really pretty easy, and fun!!

Meet from noon to 1:00 for brief business discussion/sack lunch.

1:00-4:oo will be craft time.  Blank gourds will be supplied along with availability of some paints and drilling/cutting/sanding tools.  Do a little research beforehand and come prepared with a design in mind.  Several design books are available to help with ideas.

Come out with the Newberg Cowgirls for an evening of fun playing BINGO in Aurora, OR.  BINGO is in support of the North Marion Community Library, read and ride program.

One of our cowgirls is hosting a equitation workshop at 1 PM at her private residence. At 3 PM, the same member will host a browband making workshop. Space available for 6-10 participants. Cost is about $10 for leather, plus any bling you would like to add.

LET’S GO SUPPORT THE MOOSE LODGE AND PLAY SOME BINGO!

The lodge opens at 6:00 to claim your seats for Bingo. Bingo starts at 6:30- you DO NOT have to be a lodge member to play Bingo.

Food and beverages are also available for purchase.

The cost is $20 for 7 games of 9 cards each for straight Bingo.

During the break, they will run a 50/50 and do Queen of Hearts. Everyone can play the 50/50 but only members can play the Queen of Hearts.

You must play all first 7 games to play the Blackout at the end. The cost to play Blackout is $5 for 12 cards.

We will be cooking hot dogs and smores on an open fire.  Bring a horse related item valued at $10 or less for a game.  Come prepared to have fun!

Some of y’all have been wanting to paint these horseshoes.  We can gather around and do a little crafting and alot of laughing.  If you have any old horseshoes, bring them, if not we will have some there.

BYOB dinner and games. Bring a $5.00 scratch off or an item of  same value for a game. Can be a garage sale item or something someone may want.  Put it in a bag or an envelope. We are meeting at Rhonda’s place in Pecan Plantation.  Don’t speed in Pecan Plantation, they are serious about their speed limits.

This is a benefit for Carly and Ben Hautala. Cade pass away on January 21, 2024. We will do a Silent Auction, Dollar Raffles and a food truck. Another fun idea!  Really hoping for us to all get together and get to know each other so in the spring and summer our rides will be relaxing and we will know a bit about each other.  Always awkward to ride with strangers, Right????  Bring a few trinkets from a favorite horse, dog, person etc. to place gently into a keepsake.

Join the cowgirls and area law enforcement agencies for a night of bingo, games, raffles and fun, honoring Fallen Officer Nevada Krinkee. This is a fundraiser for this young officer’s family. Join us to discuss the book “In Search Of Peace: A Prequel to The Horses Know Trilogy.”  We will eat, drink, be merry and discuss the story at our lovely host’s home.  Contact host for more details

Meet up at Marillyn’s house at noon and then we ride at 1pm.  We go on a trail ride to find hidden ribbons that you turn in for an Easter basket. Some ribbons may get you an additional prize or an “upgraded” Easter basket!!! Marillyn will have some snacks and beverages (of course, there will be jello shots and peeps shots!!!!!) It is $25 per participant to help cover some of the cost of the Easter basket items.  (You get a basket with more than $25 in value.)  This is just a fun ride and day, not an extensive trail ride. You basically ride until you find a ribbon or as long as you want. We then go to my neighbor’s house and he feeds us. I will have a “new” place to ride this year. Woohoo! Please RSVP to Marillyn by March 30th so she can have enough baskets prepared. Feel free to bring prospective members, family, or friends! “Rain date” make-up ride will be April 20th.

Mark your calendar for the 37th Annual Oregon Ag Fest, April 27-28 at the Oregon State Fairgrounds in Salem, OR.

Over 30 interactive activities for kids as well as a petting zoo, equipment display, tradeshow and pony rides (free of charge).

This year, parking is free and admission is $15. Kids 15 & under get FREE admission!
