We have a monthly Craft night on the 3rd Tuesday of Every Month. They will be held at Joy Haut’s house. We will select the craft during our Monthly Roundup the previous month, to give Joy time to get all the supplies.
January – We will be making Valentine’s Day decor – A rag garland and Gnomes.
Meet from noon to 1:00 for brief business discussion/sack lunch.
1:00-4:oo will be craft time. Blank gourds will be supplied along with availability of some paints and drilling/cutting/sanding tools. Do a little research beforehand and come prepared with a design in mind. Several design books are available to help with ideas.
Attending the 2024 Red Desert Humane Society’s Pampurr Yourself Purse and Jewelry Auction. Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Holiday Inn Ballroom on Sunset Blvd. Rock Springs WY. Tickets are $50 each. Starts at 4:30 pm.
Some of y’all have been wanting to paint these horseshoes. We can gather around and do a little crafting and alot of laughing. If you have any old horseshoes, bring them, if not we will have some there.
Join us for Amy Weber’s Birthday and tackle the Hot Chocolate Run at Fair Park in Dallas!! Amy has completed this a couple of times and has good advice. Sign up early and take advantage of early sign-up Discounts… by December 3rd for best discount!! If you do not want to participate, you can come, shop at the Vendor Expo, and cheer others at the Finish Line. You should also know, parking is very crowded. Get there early and be prepared. Cowgirls, this is a local opportunity to hear a great “Author, Humorist & Playwright”, Michael Johnson. Michael lives in our own Campbell, TX. I had the opportunity to hear him at a Lazy TK Ranch event in Breckenridge a couple of years ago. Such a fun Cowboy gentlemen with stories to tell. “Cops & Dobbers” is Sweetwater County’s way of giving back to a fallen officer from the Sheridan Police Department.
Sheridan Police Officer Sgt. Nevada Krinkee was killed in the line of duty on 2/13/24. Sgt. Krinkee leaves behind a loving wife and family.
The Green River Police Department, Rock Springs Police Department, and the Sweetwater County’s Sheriff’s Office are hosting a night of Bingo, silent auction, and raffles. All funds raised will be donated to Sgt. Krinkee family.
The Food Dude will be providing for purchase as well as drinks will be available.
The 23rd Annual Northwest Horse Fair & Expo will be held at the Linn Co. Fair & Expo Center in Albany, OR March 22-24, 2023.
The event is a three-day horse fair and exposition, attracting horse owners and enthusiasts from Oregon and the surrounding states and Canada. Each day of the expo will be packed with sights and sounds of the horse world: featuring world-renowned clinicians, various breed demonstrations, stallion review, equine related shopping booths and much more!
The cowgirl annual bake sale to raise money for our t-shirt sale for Autism Awareness. There will be lots of goodies and maybe even a few non food items. Come out and support us, supporting a special cause.

“Bust a Nut” is a fundraiser event to benefit 5150 Rescue Farm. Come have drinks, listen to Heidi’s stories, hang out with friends, and look at some great art. Drinks will be served from a converted horse trailer. More details as she posts the latest on the event.
Purpose of the fundraiser: 5150 farm was surrendered a bunch of Guinea pigs that need to be neutered.
Heidi and 5150 Farms rescues animals of all types, like the pig that caused an uproar locally. All animals are cared for and get vet treatments. Some will find their forever home on the farm and others are able to get adopted.
We can also hit up the Cantina for Mexican food and drinks after to keep the laughs going.

IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!!!!
We are so excited to head out for our retreat at Train Robber Ranch for the 3rd year in a row!! Wonderful time had for all!
Once we get closer to the date we will figure out a place to meet and caravan for those who want to. Otherwise, we will meet you all down there.
This is a private retreat with limited spots available so let us know if you are interested in joining us. We will be leaving on Thursday, April 11th to head down there and coming back on that Sunday. The cost will be divided between everyone who signs up to go.
We always plan meals for dinner so that everyone can pitch in and bring something. We will plan this as we get closer as well.

Help fight Hunger locally & globally. Dine on a simple meal of soup, bread dessert and water. Take home a hand painted ceramic bowl as a reminder of the fight against food insecurity and hunger in our area and around the world

This will be our largest Retreat since formation! Our fledgling Chapter has taken off and grown rapidly in the last year. We are looking forward to celebrating that accomplishment and getting to know each other better in the best environment we have to offer. Watch for our report and pictures!!

Join us for a fundraiser trail ride with our partners BCHSC. We’ll ride from Fell hunt camp to Parsons Mountain recreation area. Lunch will be served by the lake . Saxons food truck will serve lunch. Ride out at 10am. Proceeds are going to restore the hitching rails at the lake.
Pop Tab Challenge- Save your pop tabs, soup can tabs, pet food can tabs, etc! We will have a weigh-in at the end to see who collected the most! The tabs will go to the Ronald McDonald House in Salt Lake City.

Cinch Crafting Mornings – Start the day by channeling your inner artisan. We will guide you through the art of cinch making – from selecting materials to mastering design work. With our patient guidance, you’ll create a cinch that’s not only functional but also a reflection of your unique style. As you craft, you’ll bond with fellow enthusiasts, sharing stories and laughter as you weave and mold materials into a piece of equine art.
This basic cinch-making clinic covers a comprehensive range of topics, including:

This introductory cinch class focuses primarily on straight cinches. The techniques you learn can be applied to create custom straight cinches, breast collars, belts, hat bands, key chains, and more. International Day celebrates the diverse heritage of Rock Springs each July. Known as the “Home of 56 Nationalities,” different cultures are celebrated all day through food, exhibits, costumes and live entertainment. It is the only ethnic festival of its kind in Wyoming, so you won’t want to miss it!
