We have a monthly Craft night on the 3rd Tuesday of Every Month. They will be held at Joy Haut’s house. We will select the craft during our Monthly Roundup the previous month, to give Joy time to get all the supplies.
January – We will be making Valentine’s Day decor – A rag garland and Gnomes.

1:00-4:oo will be craft time. Blank gourds will be supplied along with availability of some paints and drilling/cutting/sanding tools. Do a little research beforehand and come prepared with a design in mind. Several design books are available to help with ideas.

Our monthly Grub night will be on January 25, 2024 at Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant on Foothill Blvd. We will be discussing upcoming events, year end awards party, holiday party, slush funds, memberships and much more. Drill team, trick riding, cowboy history, parade of hounds, fox hunting, mounted archery, trail safety, vendors. This expo covers it all. Come out and support the SC horse council. 10am to 4pm.
Some of y’all have been wanting to paint these horseshoes. We can gather around and do a little crafting and alot of laughing. If you have any old horseshoes, bring them, if not we will have some there.

What is Galentine’s Day you might ask? Well, it’s a day for women to celebrate their friendships with their lady friends and our club has developed some wonderful lifetime friendships through our horses. Monthly dinner gathering will be at Los Cabos on February 27, 2024 at 6:30 pm. Kari won the basket, so she will bring it to this dinner. We decided to donate a buckle for the Sweetwater Ranch Sort Club, and also for the Wild West Outlaws gymkhana 40 and over age group. Slush fund is $492.00. before the deduction for buckles.

Please join us for our FIRST ANNUAL 40 SOMETHING COWGIRL CHALLENGE! We will be partnering with Bar Double G Quarter Horses in producing this event!
** NEGATIVE COGGINS REQUIRED**
Starting with approximately 15 (4-rider) teams.
**Cost will be $100 per rider/ $400 per team of 4 cowgirls (pay fees by cash/ check/ cash app/ venmo/ zelle/ paypal/ or credit card**
Limited stalls/ pens & RV spots available (FEES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN ENTRY FEE). Primitive camping available.
Concessions will be open.
Check in will be Friday, May 17th starting at 6:00pm.
Events will start on Saturday, May 18th.
