If anyone is interested in volunteering for western heritage day at Hardin-Simmons, they are looking for people to show kids how to rope (like 1st graders). In the past HSU students who don’t know how to rope have helped but they’d love to have “real cowgirls/boys” come to show how it’s done.
It is Thursday April 25th 8 am- noon. Over 2000 kids are already signed up.
Other western things to show the kids are also open for suggestion. The six white horses will have a farrier working on them for one of the stations.
Come out and play on a Thursday night! This will be the last of the series. We will have Poles, Spur, Single bucket flags, straight barrels and clover leaf barrels.
