Come join us for our Monthly Meeting and hear all about the fun things we do as a club.

We have lots of fun things planned and we will work on planning more events so bring all your ideas to the table and lets hear all about them.

We will also have a raffle at the end of the meeting and you won’t want to miss out on that for we have fun prizes to be won!        1 ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20. Lone Star Equine Solutions will be doing a private De-Spooking clinics just for 40SC.  Limited spots available.

This clinic will cover horse physiology and psychology.  Class time learning the physical attributes of the horse relating to equine vision. Mounted obstacles and sensory training with fire lines, smoke, canisters, gunfire, and more.

Cost: $100 or $115 if the clinic is relocated to a covered arena due to inclement weather. 8 hour day with lunch provided. $25 non-refundable deposit due at registration.

This clinic will be at your own pace and open to all skill levels and disciplines. You can walk your horse if you prefer.

This is a clinic ran by Matea Baabcock to help build your horse’s confidence and have fun. Learn the leadership skills needed to ger your horse crossing obstacles relaxed and willingly.  You will find out how you as the rider can cultivate a strong focus and help de-spook your horse on all kinds of obstacles.

$500/rider for the weekend or $250/rider per day.

Early bird discount: Pay before February 1, 2024 and come for $400/rider for the weekend (non-refundable and non-transferable.)

Come on out!  Arena is covered and plenty of parking available.

Jim welcomes both western & english riders.  Whether your horse is under saddle or still in the ground work stages of training, Jim is very well versatile and knowledgeable.

Come prepared to answer the question, “What do you want to learn/work on?”  Jim wants to help you with your goals and that is why he does one hour one-on-one sessions.

A one hour session with your horse is $160.

If you chose not to bring a horse there is a $25 per day audit fee.  Clinic participants are welcome to audit all riders sessions at no additional charge.

Sessions start at 9am and go until 5pm, with a one hour lunch break from noon to 1pm.

Participants must prepay in advance to reserve their spot.

Green River 40 Something Cowgirl, Kari Moneyhun, has teamed up with Sara Lowe of Sagebrush Training to offer a two-day confidence clinic focusing on ranch and trail obstacles.  These clinic are fun, encouraging, and full of laughter.  Sagebrush Sara works on building each rider up and strengthening your relationship with your horse.

Cost is $400 for the two day clinic.  Current 40 Something Cowgirl members get a 10% discount!

Pre-register by 5/1/24, $200 non-refundable deposit is required.  Remainder due one week before the event.

Staci and her husband, Hud, has offered a day of saddle fitting.  Hud will go over general fit information for everyone and take questions. You may bring a horse for fitting, with either their stock (Purchase is not required or expected. They are doing this for informational/teaching purposes not sales) or you may get advice on a concern with the fit of your current saddle.  Hud can work with individuals after the main presentation.  If you plan to bring a horse, please let Staci know in advance so that they will know how many to expect. There is limited parking so maybe even plan to carpool if you can.  You may contact Staci directly for more information at 816-536-4532.

We are going to do something a little different……Today is the 1st day of Fall so we are going to say goodbye to summer and start the Fall season off right by having one last pool party at Cowgirl Kelly’s house. The fall market at Margie‘s is a fun today event featuring over 50 vendors of antiques vintage repurposed and Handcrafted. We also have fall fest type activities to entertain the whole family. Food drinks, shopping, and fun all in one place

Come join us for an evening full of fun, laughter, and planning of future events.  Cedar Hollow Winery is a very welcoming place for a gathering with great food and tasty wine along with the most amazing employees who make you feel at home.
