1/15/24 Update: Since we had to reschedule the January 13, 2024 FYFS and Browband Workshops to January 27, 2024, Cowgirl Liz has offered to host our January meeting at her house in conjunction with the other events. Our January meeting will be held at 12:30. Immediately following the meeting will be the FYFS workshop and then, browband making.
Please email for location and additional information. This meeting will be held at a private residence, and we will not be publicly posting the address.

Rendezvous is a state sponsored event put on by Back Country Horsemen of Washington that is open to the public. This is a non-riding event. We offer educational classes, shopping, social and informative events and seminars. There are no fees for anything other than the Saturday nights catered dinner and the on-site camping. Just in time for your show season! Please join for an educational seminar on Safety and Preparation for Horse Shows.
Chris Wickliffe, DVM, will explain the importance of being prepared and safe during your horse shows, and how to ensure a good experience for both rider and horse.
Look forward to learning:
- Things you can do to ensure your horse will be protected against diseases
- Precautions you can take to avoid injury to your horse with travel and exercise
- A mental check list of all things you should be checking and preparing before travel
- Much more!
This seminar is not limited to those in more competitive show rings! It offers valuable information to anyone who takes trip with their horses (trail riding, camping, OHSET, 4H)

Come enjoy an Amazing Clinic with Patrick Sullivan of Gamilah Unbridled & Modern-Day Horsemanship
Each day, participants will receive 2 one on one sessions with their horse. Due to the individualized teaching, they welcome participants of all skill levels. Their niche is liberty and bridleless riding, but participants are welcome to use their sessions as they’d like.
This clinic will end with liberty games Sunday Afternoon!
Cost: Participants $675 for 3 days, Auditors $35 per day.
