Cowgirl Jennie Vayo is setting up an opportunity for you to participate in a Night Ride Obstacle Clinic at Legacy Ranch in Lone Oak. This Clinic will be offered by Hunt County Sheriff’s Posse, under the direction of David and Terry Rogers. It is limited to ten (10) riders, so sign-up quickly. If weather is prohibitive, it will be rescheduled. Come on out… new opportunity, new experience!!
Our Chapter will be attending the SHTX Kick off Classic Feb 29-March 4th 2024
Show has 10 Divisions , collegiate competition , Ranch Cutting, and AQHA Ranch Riding .

Thurs Feb 29th Boxing only clinic 1-2pm & 2-3pm $50/per person
Paid Cow practice w/ coaching with fresh cows 3:30-7pm $85.00 / cow
Friday March 1st Stock horse Clinic with all 4 classes $130.00/ person

bring your horses to ride after we set up all of the obstacles , it’ll be fun
Since we are all trying to save some $$s for one reason or another, Maria and Whispering Oaks Farm & Ranch have offered to Host a barn “Watch Party” for The American Performance Horseman. (The Globe Life tickets with any decent view are high, and their refreshments are as well.) This competition will be aired by Fox Sports 1, so check your local listings.
The greats will be in class competitions, including but not limited to, Casey Deary, Cade McCutcheon, Sarah Dawson, Andrea Fappani, Corey Cushing and Jason Vanlandingham!! There are 5 designated Teams of 3 each competing, so this will take a while. In the meantime, so much fun to be had!! Contact Maria or me for details. Bring your favorite chairs and dress as needed for the barn and weather!!

Rockin Wild Ranch and Arena has graciously opened up their gorgeous covered arena , for us to have fun in their arena with Obstacles.
Bridges, teeter-tots , cowboy curtain, water obstacles, push mobile, tire drag, tire climb, mailbox, 42’ tarp, noodle obstacle, turn style, buddy carry , gates, jump, logs to cross, flag carry , music, and soooooo much more

Another great opportunity to compete and watch some great horses at the Stock Horse of Texas – Aggieland Classic, Clinic, and Derby!! Join us if you can. As our interest grows and our Chapter Members develop their Ranch Competition skills, we will continue to participate in this great East Texas Stock Horse association!! Join us there for a fun, event-filled weekend. Pick your Classes, enter at your level, participate and learn. Monthly Clinics are often held to offer knowledge and training improvements.
