Trail Boss, Linda Deas, has organized another weekend for Trail Riding. Plan will be to ride out each morning at 10:30am. This site has pens, electric and water. Cowgirl Jennie Vayo is setting up an opportunity for you to participate in a Night Ride Obstacle Clinic at Legacy Ranch in Lone Oak. This Clinic will be offered by Hunt County Sheriff’s Posse, under the direction of David and Terry Rogers. It is limited to ten (10) riders, so sign-up quickly. If weather is prohibitive, it will be rescheduled. Come on out… new opportunity, new experience!!
Jump on your horse or mule and have some fun while also helping to maintain the trails at Big Mineral. Bring some loppers and a snack. Big Mineral is a pretty rugged ride with some fairly steep hills. Its not rocky though and your steed can go barefoot. Also, theres no fee to ride there.

Event held by The Lake Ray Roberts Equestrian Trails Association as a fund raiser to match funds for a new recreational trail grant. Saturday events are obstacle course judged in an arena and relaxing trail ride with judged obstacles along the trail. Sunday is also trail ride with judged obstacles. You can go for one event, one day, or the whole weekend. Some meals will be provided and negative coggins is required. Awards will be given to riders and equine
