Join us for a fundraiser trail ride with our partners BCHSC. We’ll ride from Fell hunt camp to Parsons Mountain recreation area. Lunch will be served by the lake . Saxons food truck will serve lunch. Ride out at 10am. Proceeds are going to restore the hitching rails at the lake.

Our chapter is helping with parking on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2nd. We need a minimum of 6 people each day (on horse or on foot). This is a rain or shine commitment. If you commit to helping, please follow through. Parkers need to be ready to go by 9 AM each day. The rodeo gates open at noon and the show starts at 1:30 both days. This will be a small fundraiser for our chapter. Each parker will recieve a ticket for entry to the rodeo and ticket for lunch.
All 40SC members are requested to wear a 40SC shirt. If you don’t have a 40SC shirt, a pink shirt will do.
Inviting our neighboring chapters to help.
Camping is available if folks would prefer to camp for the weekend.

If you prefer that your donation items go to a specific rescue, let me know. My plan was to collect items for Friends of Yola’s but I am open to donating things to other organizations.

Local Competitors  

There will be payouts for all local events.  All competitors must wear jeans, boots, and a long-sleeved shirt. Cow Milking competitors must wear a cowboy hat.  ALL COMPETITORS MUST SUBMIT A SIGNED LIABILITY FORM.  IF UNDER 18, THE FORM NEEDS TO BE FILLED OUT AND SIGNED BY AN ADULT. 

Events:   ​​

​* Wild Cow Milking – Adult teams of 3.  Cow is let out of the chute with a halter and rope on.  Team is given a bottle.  Have to get enough milk into it that a drop will let out into the judges hand. $100 per team. ​

* Mutton Bustin – Kids 4-6 years old and under 50 lbs get on a sheep and hold on for as long as they can! –  $35

We will be participating in the Park Street 4th of July Parade again this year.  Everyone come join us!!

We will meet up in the parking lot of the Family Fellowship Church parking lot to get ready.  Bring all your patriotic decorations and decorate those horses up and wear your best patriotic outfit you can find!!  Come early enough to be ready for lineup at 9:00 am parade starts at 10:00 am.

There are lots of things going on before and after the parade so look up North East Texas Community Events on Facebook and check out their flyer as to all that is going on.  For instance: Park Street Baptist Church hosts a free pancake breakfast starting at 7:30 am with donations being much appreciated,  Complimentary watermelon after the parade, ETC.  At dusk it all moves over to the Greenville sports park with the Bottle Rocket Bash.

**PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING A BUCKET AND POOPER SCOOPER AND CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR HORSES**  This is a must in order for us to be welcomed back and able to park in the church’s parking lot.

Along with the rodeo action there will be a trade show and food vendors.

▪︎ All Participants that have paid at least $750 by deadline (TBD) will receive a FREE Weekend Stall AND a FREE Dinner with Carson IF we have at least 15 participants paid in full by the Final Deadline. (Grab a friend and team up!)

▪︎Gates open for clinic at 7am. Clinic starts at 8am.

▪︎​All dogs must be under control at all times.

▪︎A Silent Auction will be held each day.

▪︎ Stall Fee: $35/Weekend Includes 3 bags of shavings. Additional bags $8/each.

☆Lunch will be available on site for Participants through pre-orders only. $8 per meal and must be paid by TBD.  There are eating places nearby for those wishing other options.

☆Dinner with Carson: Our Saturday night Dinner will be open to ALL Pre-paid PARTICIPANTS AND AUDITORS. Participants & their companion $20 each, Auditors $25 each. Fees must be received by TBD date.

​Lodging-
◇Bunkhouse lodging is available on site but space is very limited. Four bunks per room. Bring your own linens. $20/per person- per night.

◇Dry Camping – generators are welcome. $25/night

◇Hotels are available nearby in Covington, GA or Jackson, GA,

Cowhand challenge!(sorting, penning, etc). All proceeds go to Rutledge Cancer Foundation! We will have a chuck wagon lunch available for purchase . This event is a benefit. Cowgirls only will have buckles to the winning team. The open division will have a payout. 4 man teams. Pre registration is encouraged and there will be a $50. Join us as we ring in the season at the stockyards. We will park in lot 5. Modified parade attire:

decorate your horse for Christmas!

Arrive between 2-3 pm. Line up is at 3:30 and the parade starts at 4.  Coggins is required!

We love the stock show and Rodeo, we practically live there! If you go, take a selfie and we will add you to the roster. Specifically, we will do the following events:

 

Grand Entry 1/Go Pink night -be at trailer parking by 5:30 traditional parade attire

Grand Entry 1/TCU Night purple shirts, black 40SC vest

Grand Entry 1/Rutledge at 11 am performance arrive by 9:00 with long sleeve white shirt, black vest.

Grand Entry 1/Military Appreciation night- black vest and white shirt- we will provide red bandannas

black saddle blankets all days

***GE walkover with police escort is 1 hour prior to performance

*** all performances need pink wraps on front legs and pink wild rag unless otherwise stated.

All long sleeve shirts must be button ups. Arena attire!

Shopping ‘til we drop on MLK day!

you must have a physical copy of both your coggins and a health certificate to get your horse on the FWSSR grounds. No exceptions. They will not accept a coggins from your phone.
