East Texas Stock Horse Show! Come out and show off your skills and horsemanship. East Texas Stock Horse Association has continued to provide an excellent show series and trainers. This has provided our COWGIRLS with great information and examples in the Stock Horse show pen. Come out and support your fellow COWGIRLS as they show off their skills and horsemanship!
As with any competition, interest grows and our COWGIRLS are honing their skills. Come out and cheer on our fellow COWGIRLS or participate in this great Association. Join us for a fun filled weekend. Pick your events and competition level and show off what your skills. Monthly clinics are held the Friday before the Show weekend, so make sure you attend to learn what the judges are looking for at that weekend show.

Come on out for the 24th Annual Oregon Equestrian Trails Mid-Valley Chapter Poker Ride.
Directions: North on 9th St, go 1 mile, Left on Heritage Hills Rd, then follow the signs to TE Ranch.
$10 per hand or 3 hand for $20 (minimum one hand per rider)
Minors (under 18 yrs old) need a parent or guardian signature.
First rider out 9 am * Last rider out 12 pm * Awards at 2: 30 PM
NO DOGS PLEASE!
Food will be available for purchase from J&C BBQ.

Clackamas County Sheriff’s Posse Annual Raffle Ride – July 14th.
First riders out at 9am ; Last riders out at 11am.
Grand Prize is $200
Additional prizes -Must be present to win.
Cost $30 per rider, kids under 10yrs is $10 (includes ride, one raffle ticket, and lunch)
There is a new parking area this year, just down the road from last year’s location. “We have updated the ride so you will not have to ride on logging roads and will stay in beautiful forest and fields.”
No smoking, No alcohol, No stallions, foals, or dogs.
Horse shoes are highly recommended.

Join us for at Tryon International Equestrian Center for a night of fun to cheer on the horses and riders as they soar over massive jumps and race through the timers. We could all carpool or caravan and meet early for dinner, arrive before 4:00 for free parking. The event is FREE, only fee looks parking after 4:00. Lots of food options and shopping!! Bring you chair, your cooler, your snacks, your brew… whatever makes you happy and settle back for a fun evening in the “Barn” to watch the big screen telecast of this event! This is a horse show with Western events on Saturday and English events on Sunday. This is open to all equines and burros (Mustangs and non-mustangs). Please see wyomingmustangassn.com for more info and to enter classes.

Open Horse Show benefiting Southeastern Guide Dogs. Gates open at 6:00 a.m., start time for show 9:00 a.m. Come join us as we spectate, cheer on or compete while supporting a good cause. There will be vendors and food available as well as non-stop action. Contact Jan Tucker at (704)692-6713 if you’re interested in competing to get a full list of classes and registered!!
Another great opportunity to compete and watch some great horses at the Stock Horse of Texas – Aggieland Classic, Clinic, and Derby!! Join us if you can. Save the dates for the 3rd Annual “Power of Pink Barrel Race”. The dates will be Friday October 18th through Sunday October 20th.
This is another great barrel race produced by Genesis Parker & Megan Matsuura, two members of the Green River Chapter of 40 Something Cowgirls.
A great race for a great cause, well ran, fun for the entire family, and a great time in the saddle.
