Everyone needs to go join in on the 90th year celebration of the Cowboy Rodeo and Reunion. Its always a great show of athletes, music, and people. This year they will have Aaron Watson and Kevin Fowler playing after the rodeo. You can check out their facebook page for all the details, too many to list here… If you go, just snap a photo of you there and send it to me. All are welcomed and encouraged to go..

Make plans now on your busy calendar to join our Monthly Roundup Meet & Greet!! Join us for another evening of 40SC Fun and camaraderie. You know it will be a great time with Great Friends… we will have lots of laughs, regardless. Our written challenge this month is to bring a new prepared Event Idea for consideration and planning. All ideas and questions are welcome. Invite a Horse Friend and come on to meet us, so we can meet you!!
Looking forward to seeing everybody and catching up as we just enjoy each other’s company! Bring your smartest mind as sometimes on Thursday nights, they have trivia!

The weather should be good and hot, time for a dip in a pool. Bring a favorite snack and beverage Rhonda is making lunch. Please contact Rhonda if you plan to attend. We will have a brief meeting and prospective members are welcome.

If the weather is nice, lets meet at the Mountain View Park, under the pavilion. Monday, June 24th, 6:00 P.M. Bring a lawn chair just in case the pavilion is occupied. If the weather doesn’t want to play nice, we’ll head over to the BV Senior Center. We need to discuss upcoming events, including the obstacle course competition. Hope to see everyone there.

The St Paul rodeo began in 1935 when eight local farmers and businessman took the baseball diamond and turned it into a short quarter mile track with bucking chutes and a roping chute. The rodeo has been a Fourth of July tradition in Oregon for over 80 years.
Join our Marvelous Maverick Cowgirls as we vote in a new Queen! Our monthly meeting will also include upcoming events, ideas and sharing stories from our latest events.

Local Competitors
There will be payouts for all local events. All competitors must wear jeans, boots, and a long-sleeved shirt. Cow Milking competitors must wear a cowboy hat. ALL COMPETITORS MUST SUBMIT A SIGNED LIABILITY FORM. IF UNDER 18, THE FORM NEEDS TO BE FILLED OUT AND SIGNED BY AN ADULT.
Events:
* Wild Cow Milking – Adult teams of 3. Cow is let out of the chute with a halter and rope on. Team is given a bottle. Have to get enough milk into it that a drop will let out into the judges hand. $100 per team.
* Mutton Bustin – Kids 4-6 years old and under 50 lbs get on a sheep and hold on for as long as they can! – $35
Dutch treat lunch and meeting. Join us at 3 Parrots and meet the gang!

Hello Cowgirls and Equestrians of all riding disciplines. Every 2nd Tuesday of each month we round up at Woody’s.We gather ideas on what to do with cowgirl friends with or without horses. Whether a member or not take a evening to round up with us to join and help plan some events as a group of cowgirls,maybe something you have in mind and always wanted to do…will be interesting and fun for all! Get the scoop on upcoming events!
We always include a door prize to one lucky participant!

Come out and support all the contestants vying for a national title at the super bowl of High School rodeo. Contestants will be from across the United States, 5 Canadian Provinces, Australia, Mexico, & New Zealand. The rodeo will showcase rodeo athletes as they compete for national titles as well as scholarship over $375,00.
Along with the rodeo action there will be a trade show and food vendors.

We will plan to ride in the Grand Entry so come join us!!
Must be there ready to line up at 7:00 pm to participate in the Grand Entry. Rodeo starts at 7:30.
Tickets are $10/person and kids 5 and under are free. CASH only at the gate. No online ticket sales. There will be an ATM outside the gate if need be. However, if you participate in the Grand Entry your admission is FREE!!
We will be participating in full 40SC parade gear. This being: Pink button up 40SC blouse, straw hat, boots, jeans, and pink polo wraps or splint boots on front legs of your horses and if you have the 40SC saddle pad cover you may use that as well.

From the classic events of Saddle Bronc , bareback, the fan favorite of bull riding, and the pretty girls & fast horses of barrel racing. Don’t forget the classic timed events of team roping, steer wrestling, and calf roping.
Pre Show events may vary but they usually have mutton busting, teen cash scramble, and the adult cash scramble.

Farm-City Pro Rodeo Grounds has seating for nearly 8,000 spectators. Entry to the Umatilla County Fair is included with purchase of FCPR ticket. No entry to FCPR from Umatilla County Fair without rodeo tickets. Main parking lot at east entrance to FCPR grounds. Parking also available at any Umatilla County Fair Parking Lots.

$600.00 for New Memberships with a $250 Guest Pass available. Membership includes covered seating, refreshments and hors d’oeuvres, for each of the Farm-City Pro Rodeo nightly performances.
The Gold Buckle Catch Pen will be open one hour prior and one hour after the performances.

The Demo Derby is a Moses Lake phenomenon-the cars are sliding, spinning,
rolling, and of course CRASHING! This event is guaranteed to provide hours of
entertainment for all ages.

Bulls, Bands and Barrels at Cowtown Coliseum @7:00 PM more details on GM
Bring your digital camera or smart phone and find the top surveyed answers to questions to chose from along the trail. Compete as an individual.
Riders out at 9-11 am. Riders will leave in intervals and Ride route is 2 -2 1/2 hours long. Finish by 2pm. Intervals intended to control congestion on the trails.
Riders must return to later than 2pm to turn in their results. Prizes awarded after 2pm.
Bring your lunch; lemonade, water and treats provided.
Shoes for horses are recommended. Children are encouraged to wear helmets and dogs must be on a leash.
Entry Fees: $30 per rider; under 12 years of age $10. cash or check. Day use park parking fee is $5; or purchase an annual permit. *Join OET at this event with the purchase of a single or family membership and recieve one free entry to this event. (Memberships will include 2025; annual memberships are: single $30, family $35).
Prizes Awarded: For individuals with the most points awarded in the Survey, for First, Second, and Third Place. Judges decisions are final. There will also be raffle prizes. Each entrant receives a raffle ticket for this drawing.
