We are attending the 2024 Lampasas Riding Club High point 6 part series . Event Fees $6 per event(members) or $7 ( non members) (LRC membership is $50.00)

Wonderful group of gals and guys , family fun , and great way to work on new patterns and bond with your horse and enjoy something new.
Macon County Horse Association Spring Fun Show. 10 a.m. at Fairgrounds. There will be all the normal fun show activities plus speed events. Come out and play with your horses and challenge yourself with these fun games. There will be a concession stand with food & drinks so remember to bring cash. I would suggest lawn chairs, coolers with water & drink, snacks, and plenty of stuffed hay bags. You can even bring pop-up shade tents.. contact me or Lynda for info and/or directions. If you need a ride and pick up your horse let us know.

Join us to watch the thrills of a Professional Rodeo presented World Champions Rodeo Alliance at Tryon International Center. Events featured will include Bronc and Bull Riding, Steer Wrestling and Roping as well as Barrel Racing. Event starts at 7:30 and tickets (according to their website) will be going on sale soon. Join us as we kick off the winter series of Wild West Outlaws Gymkhanas, on October 26, 2024 in the indoor arena at Sweetwater Events Complex. Entry fees are $10 per event. Great way to keep your horses in shape thru the winter months. Same as last year, earn points for end of season awards. Call Susan Nichols for more information.

Join us for a fun night of foodie celebration featuring whiskey bars, great music and bonfires.
We will be participating, again, in the 2nd Annual Horse EXPO at Longhorn Arena in Greenville, TX. This Expo event will include Horse Products Vendors, Sale Horse Alley, Food Vendors, Demonstrations, New & Used Tack, Stallion Exhibits, and Horse Health. Farmersville will have a booth and represent 40 Something Cowgirls!! We will also attend and participate in EXPO Demonstrations. The 2023 1st Annual EXPO was a huge success for our Chapter!! Come join us for a little road trip to the fully climate controlled arena in Ada, OK for a fun sorting series! Keep an eye out for the flyers with more details and information regarding the classes and show details.

We love the stock show and Rodeo, we practically live there! If you go, take a selfie and we will add you to the roster. Specifically, we will do the following events:
Grand Entry 1/Go Pink night -be at trailer parking by 5:30 traditional parade attire
Grand Entry 1/TCU Night purple shirts, black 40SC vest
Grand Entry 1/Rutledge at 11 am performance arrive by 9:00 with long sleeve white shirt, black vest.
Grand Entry 1/Military Appreciation night- black vest and white shirt- we will provide red bandannas
black saddle blankets all days
***GE walkover with police escort is 1 hour prior to performance
*** all performances need pink wraps on front legs and pink wild rag unless otherwise stated.
All long sleeve shirts must be button ups. Arena attire!
Shopping ‘til we drop on MLK day!
you must have a physical copy of both your coggins and a health certificate to get your horse on the FWSSR grounds. No exceptions. They will not accept a coggins from your phone.

We will plan to ride in the Grand Entry so come join us!!
Must be there ready to line up at 7:00 pm to participate in the Grand Entry. Rodeo starts at 7:30.
Tickets are $10/person and kids 5 and under are free. CASH only at the gate. No online ticket sales. There will be an ATM outside the gate if need be. However, if you participate in the Grand Entry your admission is FREE!!
We will be participating in full 40SC parade gear. This being: Pink button up 40SC blouse, straw hat, boots, jeans, and pink polo wraps or splint boots on front legs of your horses and if you have the 40SC saddle pad cover you may use that as well.
