Let’s ride…. Time to celebrate the 90th year Cowboy Rodeo and Reunion with a fun parade. We will meet at the parking lot on East 11th place and Johnson st. We will stage at 9am at the corner of 10th and Main. Parade is to start at 10am. Full parade gear, straw hats, pinks long sleeve button downs, polo wraps… Nice jeans please. We will have a truck to decorate, and for anyone to ride in who would like to. All Cowgirls welcome…
Please bring a covered dish of your choice for after the ride, thank you! Can’t wait to see you there!
Come join us as we paint wine glasses! Wendy’s Mobile Painting provides everything for your $35! Bring light snacks and BYOB. We start painting at 6 so come a few minutes early if you can! Please RSVP so we know what supplies we need!
Queen Jen is from the Pecos area and this is a favorite of hers.
MEMBERS ONLY 1:00 pm Pool Party at Queen Joelle’s! Food will be provided, but bring your favorite beverage, pool float and sunscreen. There is also shade available. Please RSVP by June 14 so we have a head count by checking “Going” on this Event via the 40 Something Cowgirls Facebook page.
We always work up a huge appetite after working a fun Playday event so let’s go grab a glass of sweet tea and some good ol’ TexMex food at El Manna in Emory. Even if you weren’t able to make the playday come join us!!

We will be participating in the Park Street 4th of July Parade again this year. Everyone come join us!!
We will meet up in the parking lot of the Family Fellowship Church parking lot to get ready. Bring all your patriotic decorations and decorate those horses up and wear your best patriotic outfit you can find!! Come early enough to be ready for lineup at 9:00 am parade starts at 10:00 am.
There are lots of things going on before and after the parade so look up North East Texas Community Events on Facebook and check out their flyer as to all that is going on. For instance: Park Street Baptist Church hosts a free pancake breakfast starting at 7:30 am with donations being much appreciated, Complimentary watermelon after the parade, ETC. At dusk it all moves over to the Greenville sports park with the Bottle Rocket Bash.
**PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING A BUCKET AND POOPER SCOOPER AND CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR HORSES** This is a must in order for us to be welcomed back and able to park in the church’s parking lot.
Come out early to save the best spots on the parade route, we want you to enjoy the St Paul 4th of July Parade with us. Parade will start at 10:00am from the High School, goes through town and around the Rodeo Grounds.

Members come on out to design and make your own hat! You will be transforming one of their stylish hats with a personalized burning technique. Choose your hat color and dive into the creative process, opting between stencil and free hand methods. All under the guidance of our expert instructors. You MUST REGISTER for this EVENT by following this LINK: www.arworkshop.com/events/Waxhaw/445825/. The password to REGISTER is Cowgirl. This workshop starts at 10:00, should finished around 12:30-12:45.
If you can’t do the hat burning, we will be meeting for lunch around 1:00 in Waxhaw (location to be determined) and shopping at Waxhaw Tack Exchange as well!
Bring your digital camera or smart phone and find the top surveyed answers to questions to chose from along the trail. Compete as an individual.
Riders out at 9-11 am. Riders will leave in intervals and Ride route is 2 -2 1/2 hours long. Finish by 2pm. Intervals intended to control congestion on the trails.
Riders must return to later than 2pm to turn in their results. Prizes awarded after 2pm.
Bring your lunch; lemonade, water and treats provided.
Shoes for horses are recommended. Children are encouraged to wear helmets and dogs must be on a leash.
Entry Fees: $30 per rider; under 12 years of age $10. cash or check. Day use park parking fee is $5; or purchase an annual permit. *Join OET at this event with the purchase of a single or family membership and recieve one free entry to this event. (Memberships will include 2025; annual memberships are: single $30, family $35).
Prizes Awarded: For individuals with the most points awarded in the Survey, for First, Second, and Third Place. Judges decisions are final. There will also be raffle prizes. Each entrant receives a raffle ticket for this drawing.

Black 40SC vest
white button down shirt
black saddle blanket
black hat
I will bring red bandannas
decorate your horse for Christmas!
Arrive between 2-3 pm. Line up is at 3:30 and the parade starts at 4. Coggins is required!
Parade starts at 4 pm and a current coggins is require s to participate. We will be in white shirts, black 40SC vests, black hats and Kelly green bandanas!
