Come join us for our May monthy round-up meeting, it will be at Queen Sharry’s house at 6:30pm on May 8th. We will be going over some St Paul volunteer information, we have some fun events coming up and Corporate has a special request for us. Our new 40 Something Cowgirl (volunteer) hats will be here soon. We would like to get a photo of the volunteers in their cute new hats, Corporate would like to see all your pretty faces.
Join us as we ride in one of the big parades of the year! Western Heritage Classic is a long time tradition, so let’s come out loud and proud!
Parade starts at 6:30pm. Judging starts at 6:00 so please give yourself enough time to make lineup. Parade attire, leather western tack and coggins required please.

Whether a member or not take a evening to round up with us to join and help plan some events as a group of cowgirls,maybe something you have in mind and always wanted to do…will be interesting and fun for all! Get the scoop on upcoming events!

Let’s get together and camp and ride at AH Stevens in Crawfordville, Georgia. Full hookup sites and horse stalls. Get reservations online. Negative coggins required. 1 800 864-7275 for reservations.
Camping at a new location for our cowgirls! All stalls are currently full as is the “group” sites. If you’d like to join in and be on the waiting list for a stall should someone cancel, please contact Cindy

Come and join us in celebrating the start of the rodeo! This parade is always a good one with lots of community excitement. This parade will start at the 9th grade center, head north on Main St, go around the court house and the take us south on Waco St to return to the center.

Comanche Rodeo parade and grand entry. Line up no later than 4pm for judging on West Grand Ave in front of the Comanche Funeral home, Comanche Tx. Full parade attire-pink button down, pink polo wraps on front only, straw hat or helmet, pink scarf. Black saddle pad. Negative Coggins will be checked.

The weather should be good and hot, time for a dip in a pool. Bring a favorite snack and beverage Rhonda is making lunch. Please contact Rhonda if you plan to attend. We will have a brief meeting and prospective members are welcome.

Sheep Springs Horse Camp Reservations
Check-in: 2:00 PM, check-out: 1:00 PM
Campsites – $21 per night
($2 more on holidays and holiday weekends) (Plus $8 reservation fee)
Key Sheep Springs Horse Camp Regulations
- Bring only weed-free certified hay. (No local forage available.)
- Horses must be kept in stalls provided, and may not be tethered or picketed outside of stalls.
- Quiet Hours extend from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Prevent the spread of invasive pests by obtaining firewood locally.
- Fires are only permitted in designated fire receptacles and must be attended. Fires must be extinguished upon departure.
- Pets must be kept on leash and attended at all times.
- Secure food and scented items from bears.
4th july parade with a float lots of fun handing candy out to spectators ect. Hope that ya’ll can come join.
We will be participating in the Park Street 4th of July Parade again this year. Everyone come join us!!
We will meet up in the parking lot of the Family Fellowship Church parking lot to get ready. Bring all your patriotic decorations and decorate those horses up and wear your best patriotic outfit you can find!! Come early enough to be ready for lineup at 9:00 am parade starts at 10:00 am.
There are lots of things going on before and after the parade so look up North East Texas Community Events on Facebook and check out their flyer as to all that is going on. For instance: Park Street Baptist Church hosts a free pancake breakfast starting at 7:30 am with donations being much appreciated, Complimentary watermelon after the parade, ETC. At dusk it all moves over to the Greenville sports park with the Bottle Rocket Bash.
**PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING A BUCKET AND POOPER SCOOPER AND CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR HORSES** This is a must in order for us to be welcomed back and able to park in the church’s parking lot.
We coined the phrase “Tramping” several years ago and it stuck… for a scheduled Trail and Camping Event! Plans now to be made for your Trail Riding week(end) or just a Vacation week(end). Linda is very familiar with the area and all the amenities. Shopping, Horse Races, Dining & Wining, as well as primitive camping. Bring your LQ, RV or Toy-Hauler! Please reach out to Linda ASAP for all the details and ideas to schedule a get-away!!

Hi Cowgirls!
Join Diane Tupper for a fun camp week. Diane has camped here numerous times and loves the serene tranquil area. Lots of horse trails to be ridden. Lots of memories to be made.
This would be a great trip to ride share as the roads can be a bit intimidating for some.

NOTE: You will not want to venture into Haney Meadows itself. What appears to be a tranquil meadow was once the site of mining operations that left sink holes as a legacy.
