Located in NE Washington, about 1.5 hrs. NW of Spokane; Horse Creek Ranch is nestled in a picturesque spot only minutes from the Columbia River.
While here, Steve will lead you to a higher level of understanding and communication with your horse, and the things that you learn during your stay will enable you to go home with the tools you need to have a better equine partner.

This has provided our COWGIRLS with great information and examples in the Stock Horse show pen. Come out and support your fellow COWGIRLS as they show off their skills and horsemanship!
As with any competition, interest grows and our COWGIRLS are honing their skills. Come out and cheer on our fellow COWGIRLS or participate in this great Association. Join us for a fun filled weekend. Pick your events and competition level and show off what your skills. Monthly clinics are held the Friday before the Show weekend, so make sure you attend to learn what the judges are looking for at that weekend show.

International Day celebrates the diverse heritage of Rock Springs each July. Known as the “Home of 56 Nationalities,” different cultures are celebrated all day through food, exhibits, costumes and live entertainment. It is the only ethnic festival of its kind in Wyoming, so you won’t want to miss it! This year’s annual festival features a wide range of local, regional, and international entertainment, activities for kids, exotic foods and unique vendor items. Performers from various parts of the world provide a smorgasbord of music and dance entertainment throughout the day. Food, drinks, music, arts, crafts and more all with free admission! See you on July 13th in Bunning Park!
We will be attending to watch our Members compete. Join us there and let’s have a large cheering section! Let us know you are coming… other Plans to be determined!?!?
Join us for at Tryon International Equestrian Center for a night of fun to cheer on the horses and riders as they soar over massive jumps and race through the timers. We could all carpool or caravan and meet early for dinner, arrive before 4:00 for free parking. The event is FREE, only fee looks parking after 4:00. Lots of food options and shopping!! Please comment on this event if you want to carpool or caravan. As well as RSVP on the Event.

Join us for some rodeo fun! Bring your spouse and/or kids for a fun night! Contact Christy O. for ticket information. She will be collecting all the ticket money and get our seats together!

Please contact Joelle to RESERVE your spot and time. Certified equine dental team Barbara Brooks and David Kelly will be performing teeth floating and sheath cleaning. Cost is $100 for Teeth/Sheath or if you just need Sheath it’s $30. Please bring CASH or CHECK for payment, as well as some extra cash for our Boot for our two charities! We are keeping this a MEMBERS only event, unless we can’t fill all our time slots. So if you have a friend that needs this service, let Joelle know so we can put them on our reserve list.
This event will be held at Donna and Tim Frye’s farm, plenty of parking, complete pull through. Use 2455 Charlotte Hwy., York, SC in your GPS. When you arrive, use the entrance to the pasture with the gate. Do NOT go down the private drive to the home.

Come enjoy an Amazing Clinic with Patrick Sullivan of Gamilah Unbridled & Modern-Day Horsemanship
Each day, participants will receive 2 one on one sessions with their horse. Due to the individualized teaching, they welcome participants of all skill levels. Their niche is liberty and bridleless riding, but participants are welcome to use their sessions as they’d like.
This clinic will end with liberty games Sunday Afternoon!
Cost: Participants $675 for 3 days, Auditors $35 per day.

Open Horse Show benefiting Southeastern Guide Dogs. Gates open at 6:00 a.m., start time for show 9:00 a.m. Come join us as we spectate, cheer on or compete while supporting a good cause. Enjoy a fantastic weekend working with Carson James! Come see why Carson is considered to be one of the few with a ‘total package’ approach. He says, “Horsemanship is the one and only method that will work for every horse.” Learn how to adjust your ask and timing, better read your horse, get to your horse’s mind, and improve your relationship to obtain better results. Learn techniques to deal with most any problem and how to avoid them. Come laugh, meet new friend and become a better horseman, all while spending a weekend with your horse! What could be better?

◇Bunkhouse lodging is available on site but space is very limited. Four bunks per room. Bring your own linens. $20/per person- per night.

We will be participating, again, in the 2nd Annual Horse EXPO at Longhorn Arena in Greenville, TX. This Expo event will include Horse Products Vendors, Sale Horse Alley, Food Vendors, Demonstrations, New & Used Tack, Stallion Exhibits, and Horse Health. Farmersville will have a booth and represent 40 Something Cowgirls!! We will also attend and participate in EXPO Demonstrations. The 2023 1st Annual EXPO was a huge success for our Chapter!! And in final summary, our participating Members will wrap up their competition 2024 year back at Henderson County Fair Grounds in Athens!!! Come out and cheer them on! Your appearance and support is greatly appreciated!
