The monthly meeting of the Stanton, TX chapter will be at Torchy’s tacos in Odessa. Come enjoy good food and good company.
Come and have fun and practice your trail skills. Amy will make it interesting and add a treasure hunt. Then we’ll test our skills with a horsey partner and play a few games. We will break for lunch. Amy will supply pulled pork sandwiches. Bring a side dish or desert to share. Amy will have water, otherwise please bring what you want to drink. There will be prizes. $10.00 charge per horse trailer. This event is for 40SC members and their immediate family members.

Kick summer off with an evening of rodeo action. From the classic event of bareback riding, saddle bronc, the fan favorite of bull riding, the pretty gals and fast horses of barrel racing and all the timed events as well.

Hello Cowgirls and Equestrians of all riding disciplines. Every 2nd Tuesday of each month we round up at Woody’s.We gather ideas on what to do with cowgirl friends with or without horses. Whether a member or not take a evening to round up with us to join and help plan some events as a group of cowgirls,maybe something you have in mind and always wanted to do…will be interesting and fun for all! Get the scoop on upcoming events!

Its Roundup Time again! Lets get together for dinner, drinks, talk about all things horsey and some shenanigan planning!
Let’s have fun with the horses on some obstacles. There will be obstacles set up in the front pasture, arena and warm up pens will be open for riding. The church is going to have 3 Friday night events, 2 practices June and then a timed competition on August 16th that will be a patterned jackpot format. The flyer can be found on Brazos Trails FB page or Poolville Chapter page.
Park is open 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Distance is about 2 hours’ hauling drive from Port Orchard area of SR 16. See Belfair, WA Chapter FB page or contact Chapter Queen Wendy Morrow for details on coordinating time for Cowgirls to go together.
Cost: $25 per horse/per day + $20 refundable Haul-in Fee per horse. All manure, straw/shavings, trash must be picked up and disposed of before leaving. Staff member will inspect your area and return the haul-in fee when clean.
Open ride – Full use of the Mountain Trail Park and outdoor arena. Free parking and stalls available.

Everyone needs to go join in on the 90th year celebration of the Cowboy Rodeo and Reunion. Its always a great show of athletes, music, and people. This year they will have Aaron Watson and Kevin Fowler playing after the rodeo. Local Competitors
There will be payouts for all local events. All competitors must wear jeans, boots, and a long-sleeved shirt. Cow Milking competitors must wear a cowboy hat. ALL COMPETITORS MUST SUBMIT A SIGNED LIABILITY FORM. IF UNDER 18, THE FORM NEEDS TO BE FILLED OUT AND SIGNED BY AN ADULT.
Events:
* Wild Cow Milking – Adult teams of 3. Cow is let out of the chute with a halter and rope on. Team is given a bottle. Have to get enough milk into it that a drop will let out into the judges hand. $100 per team.
* Mutton Bustin – Kids 4-6 years old and under 50 lbs get on a sheep and hold on for as long as they can! – $35

Come out and support all the contestants vying for a national title at the super bowl of High School rodeo. Contestants will be from across the United States, 5 Canadian Provinces, Australia, Mexico, & New Zealand. The rodeo will showcase rodeo athletes as they compete for national titles as well as scholarship over $375,00.
Along with the rodeo action there will be a trade show and food vendors.
