Come and have fun and practice your trail skills. Amy will make it interesting and add a treasure hunt. Then we’ll test our skills with a horsey partner and play a few games. We will break for lunch. Amy will supply pulled pork sandwiches. Bring a side dish or desert to share. Amy will have water, otherwise please bring what you want to drink. There will be prizes. $10.00 charge per horse trailer. This event is for 40SC members and their immediate family members.

We have been invited to camp, horseback ride and enjoy! This is the 57th Annual Little George and Lucy Havens Memorial Cowboy Camp Meeting. They have RV hookups, dry camping and will have some places for us to put our horses. There are quite a few planned activities for the camp for us to join in on if we choose. There is lots of land for us to explore, a tank for fishing, and other activities. This is going to be a great weekend for fellowship and building friendships. This is a family friendly event. There is no cost to camp here. There will be a flyer posted in a FB event with further details. Please text Heather with any questions.

Key Sheep Springs Horse Camp Regulations
- Bring only weed-free certified hay. (No local forage available.)
- Horses must be kept in stalls provided, and may not be tethered or picketed outside of stalls.
- Quiet Hours extend from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Prevent the spread of invasive pests by obtaining firewood locally.
- Fires are only permitted in designated fire receptacles and must be attended. Fires must be extinguished upon departure.
- Pets must be kept on leash and attended at all times.
- Secure food and scented items from bears.

Local Competitors
There will be payouts for all local events. All competitors must wear jeans, boots, and a long-sleeved shirt. Cow Milking competitors must wear a cowboy hat. ALL COMPETITORS MUST SUBMIT A SIGNED LIABILITY FORM. IF UNDER 18, THE FORM NEEDS TO BE FILLED OUT AND SIGNED BY AN ADULT.
Events:
* Wild Cow Milking – Adult teams of 3. Cow is let out of the chute with a halter and rope on. Team is given a bottle. Have to get enough milk into it that a drop will let out into the judges hand. $100 per team.
* Mutton Bustin – Kids 4-6 years old and under 50 lbs get on a sheep and hold on for as long as they can! – $35

We coined the phrase “Tramping” several years ago and it stuck… for a scheduled Trail and Camping Event! Plans now to be made for your Trail Riding week(end) or just a Vacation week(end). Linda is very familiar with the area and all the amenities. Shopping, Horse Races, Dining & Wining, as well as primitive camping. Bring your LQ, RV or Toy-Hauler! Come out and support all the contestants vying for a national title at the super bowl of High School rodeo. Contestants will be from across the United States, 5 Canadian Provinces, Australia, Mexico, & New Zealand. The rodeo will showcase rodeo athletes as they compete for national titles as well as scholarship over $375,00.
Along with the rodeo action there will be a trade show and food vendors.

Join Diane Tupper for a fun camp week. Diane has camped here numerous times and loves the serene tranquil area. Lots of horse trails to be ridden. Lots of memories to be made.
This would be a great trip to ride share as the roads can be a bit intimidating for some.
