June 9th- taco lunch beginning at noon. $10 adult plate $5 child plate. Music Bingo at 2 pm. $10 first card $5 each additional. Both events will have cool prizes and raffles.
Free to the Public. The Annual Rods & Rails Car Show welcomes car enthusiasts from Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and more! Food trucks, face painting, raffle baskets and great music. Fundraiser for the Girls and Boys Club of Sweetwater County.
Save the date and get ready to cool down with a stout or lager while appreciating friendships, live entertainment and fresh air at the annual Sweetwater Blues n’ Brews on June 15, 2 pm to 7 pm in Bunning Park, Downtown Rock Springs.

Monthly grub night will be at Susan’s house on June 27, 2023 at 6:30 pm. We will be having burgers and chips. Bring your own drinks. We will be discussing the same topics as always. Please bring anyone interested in our group so we can build our membership. Let me know if you are coming so I get enough food. Hope to see everyone there.
Join in on a fundraiser event for the Impact of the Horse.
Registration: Early entry, by Friday before event – $50 per entry, per horse – Adult Division
Late entry, day of event – $60 per entry, per horse – Adult Division

Walk Through of Course: 8:30 am (on foot, no horses allowed)
Competition starts: 9 am
One Overall Champion of the Year will be awarded Grand Champion Buckle EYO Buckle to Champion in all classes.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have a youth riding through the course, that same horse can not be used again in the adult part of competition. Some of the obstacles will be the same and that would give the adult rider a potential unfair advantage.

Youth: 13 – 17
Peewee: 12 & under
In-Hand Class
This event is open to Horses both domestic & BLM, Mules, and burros

Join in the fun of some roller derby action as the local team, Bitter Sweet Bombshell, host a roller derby tournament. They will be hosting six teams from across the state. Sure to be a good time.

Come out and support all the contestants vying for a national title at the super bowl of High School rodeo. Contestants will be from across the United States, 5 Canadian Provinces, Australia, Mexico, & New Zealand. The rodeo will showcase rodeo athletes as they compete for national titles as well as scholarship over $375,00.
Along with the rodeo action there will be a trade show and food vendors.
International Day celebrates the diverse heritage of Rock Springs each July. Known as the “Home of 56 Nationalities,” different cultures are celebrated all day through food, exhibits, costumes and live entertainment. It is the only ethnic festival of its kind in Wyoming, so you won’t want to miss it! This year’s annual festival features a wide range of local, regional, and international entertainment, activities for kids, exotic foods and unique vendor items. Performers from various parts of the world provide a smorgasbord of music and dance entertainment throughout the day. Food, drinks, music, arts, crafts and more all with free admission! See you on July 13th in Bunning Park!

From the classic events of Saddle Bronc , bareback, the fan favorite of bull riding, and the pretty girls & fast horses of barrel racing. Don’t forget the classic timed events of team roping, steer wrestling, and calf roping.
Pre Show events may vary but they usually have mutton busting, teen cash scramble, and the adult cash scramble.
Join in on the fun of the local county fair. From livestock shows to fair food, exhibits, vendors, the carnival and concerts there is a little bit of something for everyone.

Let’s get back into the swing of things, monthly Grub Night for August will be on August 22, 2024 at 6:30 pm at Marty’s Gastro Pub on Elk Street in Rock Springs. Please plan on attending and RSVP so we can make sure to get a big/small enough table.
Join us for the 8th Annual Cowgirl Up Fun Day, on August 24, 2024 at Nichols Ranch. Entries will start at 10am and 1st event will start at 11:30 am. There will be 3 horse events and 2 ground events. Teams of 2 and teams will be drawn at 11am. Cost is $100 per cowgirl. Buckles to the 1st place team and prizes for the rest of the places. Please call Susan if you have any questions.

Jim welcomes both western & english riders. Whether your horse is under saddle or still in the ground work stages of training, Jim is very well versatile and knowledgeable.
Come prepared to answer the question, “What do you want to learn/work on?” Jim wants to help you with your goals and that is why he does one hour one-on-one sessions.
A one hour session with your horse is $160.
If you chose not to bring a horse there is a $25 per day audit fee. Clinic participants are welcome to audit all riders sessions at no additional charge.
Sessions start at 9am and go until 5pm, with a one hour lunch break from noon to 1pm.
Participants must prepay in advance to reserve their spot.

Join the 40 Something Cowgirls as they test their artistic abilities. At this event we will be painting a cute “Ostrich”. The event will be held at Sante Fe Southwest Grill on September 26, 2024 from 6pm to 8:30pm. The $35 ticket includes everything you need: 2.5hrs of painting, stencils, 16×20 stretched canvas to take home, your own easel to work on, paint, brushes, aprons, and help from the artist so you can enjoy your masterpiece.

The YWCA Victims Advocacy Center is hosting their 1st Annual Heroes and Heels event in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month. The event will take place on September 28th at Bunning Hall Freight Station from 6pm-10pm and will feature local heroes.
