($2 more on holidays and holiday weekends) (Plus $8 reservation fee)
Key Sheep Springs Horse Camp Regulations
- Bring only weed-free certified hay. (No local forage available.)
- Horses must be kept in stalls provided, and may not be tethered or picketed outside of stalls.
- Quiet Hours extend from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Prevent the spread of invasive pests by obtaining firewood locally.
- Fires are only permitted in designated fire receptacles and must be attended. Fires must be extinguished upon departure.
- Pets must be kept on leash and attended at all times.
- Secure food and scented items from bears.
Normal parade attire w/some matching 4th of July accessories.

4th of July parade. Line up starts at 7am and parade begins at 9am. Rain or shine (unless its dangerous weather). Parking will be in the waterpark parking lot.
We will be participating in the Park Street 4th of July Parade again this year. Everyone come join us!!
We will meet up in the parking lot of the Family Fellowship Church parking lot to get ready. Bring all your patriotic decorations and decorate those horses up and wear your best patriotic outfit you can find!! Come early enough to be ready for lineup at 9:00 am parade starts at 10:00 am.
There are lots of things going on before and after the parade so look up North East Texas Community Events on Facebook and check out their flyer as to all that is going on. For instance: Park Street Baptist Church hosts a free pancake breakfast starting at 7:30 am with donations being much appreciated, Complimentary watermelon after the parade, ETC. At dusk it all moves over to the Greenville sports park with the Bottle Rocket Bash.
**PLEASE BE SURE TO BRING A BUCKET AND POOPER SCOOPER AND CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR HORSES** This is a must in order for us to be welcomed back and able to park in the church’s parking lot.
Come out early to save the best spots on the parade route, we want you to enjoy the St Paul 4th of July Parade with us. Parade will start at 10:00am from the High School, goes through town and around the Rodeo Grounds.
2024 Theme – “A Portrait of St Paul”
This parade will take place on Saturday, July 6th. We will meet at the Lone Oak High School parking lot. There will be plenty of parking for trailers. Be there @12:30 to allow plenty of time to decorate horses and be ready for the parade which starts at 2:30.
Rider parade attire: Your best RED, WHITE, and BLUE attire.
Come join us for the parade and then we will head to Texas Roadhouse for a tall glass of sweet tea and a steak dinner.
We coined the phrase “Tramping” several years ago and it stuck… for a scheduled Trail and Camping Event! Plans now to be made for your Trail Riding week(end) or just a Vacation week(end). Linda is very familiar with the area and all the amenities. Shopping, Horse Races, Dining & Wining, as well as primitive camping. Bring your LQ, RV or Toy-Hauler! Come join us for the Old Settler’s Reunion Parade.
we will meet in the parking lot, just east of the First Methodist Church in Stanton, TX. Meet at 9 AM be in your saddle ready to go no later than 9:30 AM, parade starts at 10 AM and will be done by 11 AM.
Standard parade gear. We will have a truck for those who won’t ride a horse! Bring a stool or camp chair for the bed of the truck.

Its that time of year again, its the North Texas State Fair & Rodeo. We will be participating in the parade on Saturday August 17th. We will park along Bryan street near First Denton Church at 7:30am. Parade line up is at 9am.

West Texas Fair and Rodeo Parade is a great time to show up loud, proud and in style as 40 Something Cowgirls!
Line up is at 8:30. Parade start time is 10:30. The theme is How the West was Fun!

We are headed on vacation with our horses. Trail rides all weekend! There are hook ups for LQ trailers and room in the house if you don’t have a trailer to sleep in! Space is limited, so let us know if want in!

Franklin Camping at Deep Creek Horse Camp in Bryson City down the road to the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park Deep Creek Entrance. Must Call James Clark at 828-736-1270 to make reservations – he does not take online reservations. Once settled into to the beautiful camp alongside the beautiful creek go pick out at trailer from his numerous stock trailers available for guests to go explore different sections of the park with endless horse trails. Campground has electric and water hook ups, and dump station at departure.
Back Country Horsemen of North east Georgia is holding the annual Rendenza at Whetstone Horse Camp – please contact Katie Adams for site reservations and accommodations and meal tickets. All day riders are to be present and ready to ride out at 10am from the day parking area.

Join us as at this fun ride to help AN Issa Anderson raise money to be donated at the AHA (American Heart Association Ride). Day ride or overnight camping available, with some electric hook ups. Cost is $40 for the weekend, plus $10 per day. Stalls are available for $10 per day for smaller stalls and $15 per day for larger paddocks. Attendance for just Saturday is $30 per person. We pack up and head to TBarS on October 3rd!! This is one of our favorite places to camp! If you haven’t made it a point to go, you really should. We normally have so many going that we reserve the entire campsite. However, this year there were only 10 spots available out of the 16 and I believe we have filled those already. So, if you want to join us let us know and we can see if we can add you to our campsite or see if they had someone back out on their reservations.
We usually try to caravan so we will make plans for that the closer we get.

Primitive camp for the weekend or come ride just Saturday. Fourteen miles of back roads around Mount Pleasant. There will be live music on Friday night for those camping, as well as a big bonfire and karaoke on Saturday night.
Amy Nelson has reserved a group camping area, $75 per person/horse combo, $25 per person, non riders. Your payment to Amy will reserve your spot. Space is limited.

We LOVE Leatherwood and all it has to offer, from trail riding, good food and drinks at their restaurant and now they have zip lining. Camping is available, stalls for your horses and paddocks for turnout. Small bathhouse. They also do home rentals if you prefer that! So much fun to be had at Manchester Trail Riders twice a year Event, that raises funds for their care of the trails and campground. The fall event features food, DJ, a band and of course Halloween (trick or treat) for the kiddos, the children are taken around the campground via tractor and trailer. All of us Cowgirls usually dress up for the Saturday trail ride too! Water and power at each site. Minimal stalls available, but plenty of areas to high line or set up portable corrals. Bathhouse on site!
We will have our Boot for donations to our two charities: Cleveland County Hearts and Hooves & Southern Paws Animal Rescue.
Reservations can be made usually about two months prior to the event.

We are planning a Halloween Costume Parade Practice in the neighborhood of Whispering Oaks Farm & Ranch!! Our purpose is two-fold… to discuss Standard Parade Requirements, and to have some FUN while exposing all horses to parade activities!! After you turn from Hwy 1529, look for the 40SC Banner and turn right into the large Outdoor Arena entrance. Come early, be ready to ride out, and start our Parade Discussion by 10:00AM sharp. Then, we will ride out on Parade Route at 11:00AM. Please, no delays and lack of preparation. We want to see you in your best Costume and full attire! We are planning to have neighbors judge all entries!! WE WILL HAVE PRIZES!! And probably go afterward into Cooper for late lunch!?
