Cost is $750 per rider with $350 deposit.

- Horsemanship #2 will be held March 15, 2024 1:30pm – 4:30pm
- Vaquero Riding will be held March 16, 2024 9am – Noon (There will be NO CATTLE at this time slot)
- Ranch Work will be held March 16, 2024 1:30pm – 4:30pm
- Skills test will be held March 17, 2024 9am – noon (There will be NO CATTLE at this time slot)
- Cattle work will be held March 17, 2024 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Horsemanship #1 is for the green horse and/or rider that is comfortable in a snaffle bit and needs continued work. There will be NO CATTLE at this time slot.
Horsemanship #2 is for the horse and rider team that is learning to use the hackamore and beyond. This time slot involves CATTLE and ranch roping.
In vaquero riding we will learn basic movements of the vaquero riding that is appropriate for horses from first level snaffle to experienced bridle horses. Hackamore trained horses are welome! There will be NO CATTLE at this time slot.
Ranch work clinic will be learning how to work the cows efficiently and effectively. This time slot involves CATTLE.
Come out and show off your teamwork skills that you learned this weekend with your trusty steed! There will be NO CATTLE at this time slot.
3rd Annual Coggins clinic for Macon and surrounding counties. Dr. Jessica Scruggs, DVM will provide services. cowgirls will assistance to horse owners and Dr. Jessica. will assist with paperwork and handling of horses.
Come one come all and get your BBQ on and bring the hubbies, the kiddos and the grands for Coopers BBQ before the big parade!

Lone Star Equine Solutions will be doing a private De-Spooking daytime/ nighttime clinic just for 40SC. Limited spots available.
This clinic will cover horse physiology and psychology. Class time learning the physical attributes of the horse relating to equine vision. Mounted obstacles and sensory training with fire lines, smoke, canisters, gunfire, and more.
Cost: $150 per horse with a $50 non-refundable deposit due at registration.
This clinic will be at your own pace and open to all skill levels and disciplines. You can walk your horse if you prefer.

We have a monthly Craft night on the 3rd Tuesday of Every Month. They will be held at Joy Haut’s house. We will select the craft during our Monthly Roundup the previous month, to give Joy time to get all the supplies.

Farmersville will be attending a Progressive Series of Liberty Training presented by East Texas Liberty and hosted by Sherri Gerstenkorn. Each Clinic session is $150. Audit is allowed at $50 per person and will give you a birds-eye perspective of the process! If this is a success and more interest is created, Sherri may offer this Series on a Monthly basis in conjunction with East Texas Liberty. Please feel free to contact Sherri!
Candi Jean will be here on March 30th for a boot fitting clinic. Candi Jean will be fitting Scoot Boots and Easy Care Boots, for the best fitting horses should be trimmed 2 weeks prior. We provide all advertising, forms, chairs, canopies, and tables, and will assist with paperwork and handling of horses. Bring your big trailers for comfort and bathroom facilities. This is another community volunteer project so I hope all you cowgirls can come. Please wear your Cowgirls shirts or pink shirts to represent out 40SC chapter

Chris Wickliffe, DVM, will explain the importance of being prepared and safe during your horse shows, and how to ensure a good experience for both rider and horse.

Jim welcomes both western & english riders. Whether your horse is under saddle or still in the ground work stages of training, Jim is very well versatile and knowledgeable.
Come prepared to answer the question, “What do you want to learn/work on?” Jim wants to help you with your goals and that is why he does one hour one-on-one sessions.
A one hour session with your horse is $160.
If you chose not to bring a horse there is a $25 per day audit fee. Clinic participants are welcome to audit all riders sessions at no additional charge.
Sessions start at 9am and go until 5pm, with a one hour lunch break from noon to 1pm.
Participants must prepay in advance to reserve their spot.
