This is a clinic ran by Matea Baabcock to help build your horse’s confidence and have fun. Learn the leadership skills needed to ger your horse crossing obstacles relaxed and willingly. You will find out how you as the rider can cultivate a strong focus and help de-spook your horse on all kinds of obstacles.
$500/rider for the weekend or $250/rider per day.
Early bird discount: Pay before February 1, 2024 and come for $400/rider for the weekend (non-refundable and non-transferable.)
Come on out! Arena is covered and plenty of parking available.
Night of Bunco! Dana will be preparing corned beef and cabbage, please bring a side dish, RSVP is a must
SPRING 2024 PLAYDAY SERIES includes barrels, poles, 2 pole stake race, and straight away barrels.
Age divisions: Lead Line, 0-8 years, 9-13 years, 14-18 years, 19-30 years, and 31+ years
$5 per event-$20 one time series fee-One horse per rider to be enrolled in the series, multiple horses allowed in the daily awards.

I have set up a clinic and campout with Robbie at his place for 40SC Members. Clinic will focus on horsemanship and communication with your horse and Robbie will work with each person on where they are with their horse. We will also work a little on trail, obstacle, flag/cow work and setting your horse up for success.
There is a hotel close if you don’t have a LQ trailer. Limited spots available so contact me ASAP to register. We will also take a run over to Teskeys for a little tack shopping as the ranch is close to Weatherford. Once we know who all is going we will do a little more planning for meals, etc.
Rendezvous is a state sponsored event put on by Back Country Horsemen of Washington that is open to the public. This is a non-riding event. We offer educational classes, shopping, social and informative events and seminars. There are no fees for anything other than the Saturday nights catered dinner and the on-site camping. Time to learn how to work some cows with Buck Brannanman! Let’s show him what TEXAS COWGIRLS are made of! Bring your trusty mount and work those cows!
Cost is $750 per rider with $350 deposit.

Horsemanship #1 is for the green horse and/or rider that is comfortable in a snaffle bit and needs continued work. There will be NO CATTLE at this time slot.
Horsemanship #2 is for the horse and rider team that is learning to use the hackamore and beyond. This time slot involves CATTLE and ranch roping.
In vaquero riding we will learn basic movements of the vaquero riding that is appropriate for horses from first level snaffle to experienced bridle horses. Hackamore trained horses are welome! There will be NO CATTLE at this time slot.
Ranch work clinic will be learning how to work the cows efficiently and effectively. This time slot involves CATTLE.
Come out and show off your teamwork skills that you learned this weekend with your trusty steed! There will be NO CATTLE at this time slot.

3rd Annual Coggins clinic for Macon and surrounding counties. Dr. Jessica Scruggs, DVM will provide services. cowgirls will assistance to horse owners and Dr. Jessica. will assist with paperwork and handling of horses.

Lone Star Equine Solutions will be doing a private De-Spooking daytime/ nighttime clinic just for 40SC. Limited spots available.
This clinic will cover horse physiology and psychology. Class time learning the physical attributes of the horse relating to equine vision. Mounted obstacles and sensory training with fire lines, smoke, canisters, gunfire, and more.
Cost: $150 per horse with a $50 non-refundable deposit due at registration.
This clinic will be at your own pace and open to all skill levels and disciplines. You can walk your horse if you prefer.

Another fun idea! Really hoping for us to all get together and get to know each other so in the spring and summer our rides will be relaxing and we will know a bit about each other. Always awkward to ride with strangers, Right???? Bring a few trinkets from a favorite horse, dog, person etc. to place gently into a keepsake.

Farmersville will be attending a Progressive Series of Liberty Training presented by East Texas Liberty and hosted by Sherri Gerstenkorn. Each Clinic session is $150. Audit is allowed at $50 per person and will give you a birds-eye perspective of the process! If this is a success and more interest is created, Sherri may offer this Series on a Monthly basis in conjunction with East Texas Liberty. Please feel free to contact Sherri!
Candi Jean will be here on March 30th for a boot fitting clinic. Candi Jean will be fitting Scoot Boots and Easy Care Boots, for the best fitting horses should be trimmed 2 weeks prior. Robbinsville Community Coggins clinic for Graham and surrounding counties. Dr. Jessica Scruggs, DVM will provide services. cowgirls will assistance horse owners and Dr. Jessica. We provide all advertising, forms, chairs, canopies, and tables, and will assist with paperwork and handling of horses. Bring your big trailers for comfort and bathroom facilities. This is another community volunteer project so I hope all you cowgirls can come. Please wear your Cowgirls shirts or pink shirts to represent out 40SC chapter
This clinic will be in a large parking lot at Midway Tire and Automotive 185 Sweetwater Rd, Robbinsville, NC
