Shenandoah Bar M Ranch welcomes the cowgirls to visit the Ranch during the Shenandoah Bar M open house event.
Beginning at 9:00 a.m., the public is invited to tour the facility during which time a light breakfast will be provided. Tours of the property will be given. We will ride at 12:00. As a group, we can decide whether to do an arena ride, obstacle course, trail ride, or all three!
Come on out and share the covered arena for a morning of peaceful, comfortable, riding and training!! We will be here to help and assist, or just travel the trails in the dirt!! If you need assistance, do not hesitate to ask. Casual fun day… bring your preferred drinks and snacks for fellowship after riding!! Please do not forget to sign Arena Waiver and drop your $20 for Honor System payments!

Come and play BINGO every Thursday! First round starts at 6:30pm so show up early to ensure you have time to get a seat and order some wine and/or food! Free play and loads of fun with wacky prizes you never knew you wanted.

We have been invited to camp, horseback ride and enjoy! This is the 57th Annual Little George and Lucy Havens Memorial Cowboy Camp Meeting. They have RV hookups, dry camping and will have some places for us to put our horses. There are quite a few planned activities for the camp for us to join in on if we choose. There is lots of land for us to explore, a tank for fishing, and other activities. This is going to be a great weekend for fellowship and building friendships. This is a family friendly event. There is no cost to camp here. There will be a flyer posted in a FB event with further details. Please text Heather with any questions.

Sheep Springs Horse Camp Reservations
Check-in: 2:00 PM, check-out: 1:00 PM
Campsites – $21 per night
($2 more on holidays and holiday weekends) (Plus $8 reservation fee)
Key Sheep Springs Horse Camp Regulations
- Bring only weed-free certified hay. (No local forage available.)
- Horses must be kept in stalls provided, and may not be tethered or picketed outside of stalls.
- Quiet Hours extend from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Prevent the spread of invasive pests by obtaining firewood locally.
- Fires are only permitted in designated fire receptacles and must be attended. Fires must be extinguished upon departure.
- Pets must be kept on leash and attended at all times.
- Secure food and scented items from bears.
We coined the phrase “Tramping” several years ago and it stuck… for a scheduled Trail and Camping Event! Plans now to be made for your Trail Riding week(end) or just a Vacation week(end). Linda is very familiar with the area and all the amenities. Shopping, Horse Races, Dining & Wining, as well as primitive camping. Bring your LQ, RV or Toy-Hauler! Come join us for a fun and relaxing evening out at the Bull Creek Cowboy Church outdoor arena from 7:00pm-9:00pm. We can set up barrels, poles, or you can just spend time in the saddle with a relaxing ride as the sun goes down. The view of the sunset is absolutely amazing out there! If it is raining, chances are it will be canceled so if in doubt call before you haul. You can call Christy at the number listed above.

Let’s go have a fun night of bingo at Cedar Hollow Winery! This one has a little twist to it….this one is a Christmas in July, White Elephant Bingo night. We will take a wrapped bingo prize. We are headed on vacation with our horses. Trail rides all weekend! There are hook ups for LQ trailers and room in the house if you don’t have a trailer to sleep in! Space is limited, so let us know if want in!

Come out and listen to what the Collin County Sherrif’s Posse has to say about what they do and what their purpose is. Requirement is: know how to ride, must have own horse. Meeting will be at the Blue Ridge Riding Club Arena.
Franklin Camping at Deep Creek Horse Camp in Bryson City down the road to the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park Deep Creek Entrance. Must Call James Clark at 828-736-1270 to make reservations – he does not take online reservations. Once settled into to the beautiful camp alongside the beautiful creek go pick out at trailer from his numerous stock trailers available for guests to go explore different sections of the park with endless horse trails. Campground has electric and water hook ups, and dump station at departure.
Back Country Horsemen of North east Georgia is holding the annual Rendenza at Whetstone Horse Camp – please contact Katie Adams for site reservations and accommodations and meal tickets. All day riders are to be present and ready to ride out at 10am from the day parking area.
