Carolina Rawhide Riders is hosting their first Obstacle Play Day of 2024.
Let’s go experience obstacles you don’t get to play on every day. Outdoor Obstacle Course, Indoor Arena, and Trails.
Cost: $40 per horse and Rider, $10 additional per every added horse. (Half Off to those that attend the Hames Horsemanship Obstacle Clinic on June 8th).

Let’s have fun with the horses on some obstacles. There will be obstacles set up in the front pasture, arena and warm up pens will be open for riding. The church is going to have 3 Friday night events, 2 practices June and then a timed competition on August 16th that will be a patterned jackpot format. The flyer can be found on Brazos Trails FB page or Poolville Chapter page.
Come on out and share the covered arena for a morning of peaceful, comfortable, riding and training!! We will be here to help and assist, or just travel the trails in the dirt!! If you need assistance, do not hesitate to ask. Casual fun day… bring your preferred drinks and snacks for fellowship after riding!! Please do not forget to sign Arena Waiver and drop your $20 for Honor System payments!
Come ride at 4C, use the arena, obstacle course, round pen etc or just come hang out.

We have been invited to camp, horseback ride and enjoy! This is the 57th Annual Little George and Lucy Havens Memorial Cowboy Camp Meeting. They have RV hookups, dry camping and will have some places for us to put our horses. There are quite a few planned activities for the camp for us to join in on if we choose. There is lots of land for us to explore, a tank for fishing, and other activities. This is going to be a great weekend for fellowship and building friendships. This is a family friendly event. There is no cost to camp here. There will be a flyer posted in a FB event with further details. Please text Heather with any questions.

Registration: Early entry, by Friday before event – $50 per entry, per horse – Adult Division
Late entry, day of event – $60 per entry, per horse – Adult Division

Walk Through of Course: 8:30 am (on foot, no horses allowed)
Competition starts: 9 am
One Overall Champion of the Year will be awarded Grand Champion Buckle EYO Buckle to Champion in all classes.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have a youth riding through the course, that same horse can not be used again in the adult part of competition. Some of the obstacles will be the same and that would give the adult rider a potential unfair advantage.

Key Sheep Springs Horse Camp Regulations
- Bring only weed-free certified hay. (No local forage available.)
- Horses must be kept in stalls provided, and may not be tethered or picketed outside of stalls.
- Quiet Hours extend from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
- Prevent the spread of invasive pests by obtaining firewood locally.
- Fires are only permitted in designated fire receptacles and must be attended. Fires must be extinguished upon departure.
- Pets must be kept on leash and attended at all times.
- Secure food and scented items from bears.
We coined the phrase “Tramping” several years ago and it stuck… for a scheduled Trail and Camping Event! Plans now to be made for your Trail Riding week(end) or just a Vacation week(end). Linda is very familiar with the area and all the amenities. Shopping, Horse Races, Dining & Wining, as well as primitive camping. Bring your LQ, RV or Toy-Hauler! Come join us for a fun and relaxing evening out at the Bull Creek Cowboy Church outdoor arena from 7:00pm-9:00pm. We can set up barrels, poles, or you can just spend time in the saddle with a relaxing ride as the sun goes down. The view of the sunset is absolutely amazing out there! If it is raining, chances are it will be canceled so if in doubt call before you haul. You can call Christy at the number listed above.

Cost: $25 per horse/per day + $20 refundable Haul-in Fee per horse. All manure, straw/shavings, trash must be picked up and disposed of before leaving. Staff member will inspect your area and return the haul-in fee when clean.

Sunday: Trail Challenge- A relaxing trail ride with judged obstacles placed along 5 miles of trail. Ride at a leisurely pace with friends and family. Enjoy the sights as you improve your horsemanship skills. With 6 obstacles along the trail. One horse and rider per event. This event with take place at Jamestown/Three Beat Farms across the street from Tamarind Ranch. Registration and Riders meeting will take place at Tamarind Ranch. Traffic Control with escort riders across the street.

Come out and listen to what the Collin County Sherrif’s Posse has to say about what they do and what their purpose is. Requirement is: know how to ride, must have own horse. Meeting will be at the Blue Ridge Riding Club Arena.
Franklin Camping at Deep Creek Horse Camp in Bryson City down the road to the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park Deep Creek Entrance. Must Call James Clark at 828-736-1270 to make reservations – he does not take online reservations. Once settled into to the beautiful camp alongside the beautiful creek go pick out at trailer from his numerous stock trailers available for guests to go explore different sections of the park with endless horse trails. Campground has electric and water hook ups, and dump station at departure.
Come right around and join us for some fun on the obstacles at Joy’s Ranch. Back, just a casual time to ride around and give your horse some practice on the obstacles.
Back Country Horsemen of North east Georgia is holding the annual Rendenza at Whetstone Horse Camp – please contact Katie Adams for site reservations and accommodations and meal tickets. All day riders are to be present and ready to ride out at 10am from the day parking area.
