Hello Cowgirls and Equestrians of all riding disciplines. Every 2nd Tuesday of each month we round up at Woody’s.We gather ideas on what to do with cowgirl friends with or without horses. Whether a member or not take a evening to round up with us to join and help plan some events as a group of cowgirls,maybe something you have in mind and always wanted to do…will be interesting and fun for all! Get the scoop on upcoming events!

Make plans now on your busy calendar to join our Monthly Roundup Meet & Greet!! Join us for another evening of 40SC Fun and camaraderie. You know it will be a great time with Great Friends… we will have lots of laughs, regardless. We will be focusing on future Events, Travel opportunities, and Activities. Karen Wiggins will be Hosting this Roundup and providing hospitality for a relaxed evening. We want everyone to bring your favorite “Salad” for dinner. This could be a meat (like taco), or veggie, or pasta, or fruit salad. Please message Karen to let her know what you might bring so that we can cover the basics. Our challenge this month is BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage)! Invite a new Horse Friend and come on to meet us!!
Join us for a great night of education, planning, fun and fellowship!!! You don’t have to be a member yet, come check it out! You don’t have to be a Greenville Chapter member to join us either! Just let us know if you plan to come!
We’ll have a coffee bar, snacks and sweets! 🙂
Monthly Dinner at El Sol in Lander
Now that we have gotten some obstacle practice in, let’s see our improvements. This will be a patterned jackpot for time. 3D format, paying 2 places in each division, 75% payout.
Its that time of year again, its the North Texas State Fair & Rodeo. We will be participating in the parade on Saturday August 17th. We will park along Bryan street near First Denton Church at 7:30am. Parade line up is at 9am.
Parade attire:
- Pink Long Sleeve
- Pink polo wraps/ boots
- Straw/ palm leaf hats

Come hang out at my house for a Potluck Meeting! Just do not mind the chaos of a very busy family home and lots of unfinished projects lying around and we will do great! LOL
On the Facebook event on our 40SC Rochester page, there is a comment with a Poll that you can indicate what you would like to bring if you plan on attending. But do not feel pressured to bring anything, we want you to show up even if you cannot bring anything! 🙂

Monthly round up / meeting. Celebrating April’s big birthday~
Meeting at Deep Creek Horse Camp to attend the newly formed Southern Highlands BCH in our riding territory. Bring a lawn chair and your choice of snacks and beverages, adult beverages are permissable.
Come on over to Joelle’s home for some pool time ! The address is 406 Unity Church Road, Kings Mountain, NC. Arrive around 2:00 for drinks, food, socializing, work on your tan and a short meeting.
Great time to bring friends who are interested in meeting like minded cowgirls!
Please bring your favorite drink and a light dish to share. We will “Pass the Boot” for our 2024 charities.
Let’s get together and swim at Angela Rey’s house in Belton. This will be a roundup meeting to plan our fall fling, so members please come! BYOB, bring swimsuits, towels, sunscreen and snacks. Let’s cool off! If you know of any prospective members bring them over!
A few chapters are teaming up to resurrect the old Shawnee Trail Ride in Pottsboro, TX. Frontier Days in Pottsboro was started around the wagon train on its way through town, following the old Shawnee Trail that moved cattle from Dallas to Missouri and crossed the Red River at Preston Point. The Trail Ride disappeared about 20 years ago and we’re bringing it back! Join us for the planing if you want to participate in the planning.
Come join us for an evening of brainstorming, dinner, and friendly chat. Be sure to bring your cash for a raffle drawing. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.
It’s NEVER to late to brainstorm fun ideas to do! Bring a friend. The more the merrier!!
Our August Round Up will be held at Foster Road Ranch. Here’s our agenda:

The event does take place on Saturday with an In-Hand event obstacles.
Sunday: Trail Challenge- A relaxing trail ride with judged obstacles placed along 5 miles of trail. Ride at a leisurely pace with friends and family. Enjoy the sights as you improve your horsemanship skills. With 6 obstacles along the trail. One horse and rider per event. This event with take place at Jamestown/Three Beat Farms across the street from Tamarind Ranch. Registration and Riders meeting will take place at Tamarind Ranch. Traffic Control with escort riders across the street.

Come challenge your horse to a large variety of outdoor and indoor obstacles! The cost is $40 per horse and rider, $10 for each additional horse. Richard Hames, trainer, will be available to to help you navigate as needed.
Come out and meet some of the “Fun-nest” bunch of cowgirls on the planet! Enjoy fellowship, sharing horse experiences, sharing some of our recent activities and planning our future activities. Bring a friend if you would like too☺️

This will be the meeting to finalize all things Prize Ride.
Owners Tom and Pat Seay open their home and land for a unique cattle experience. Experienced or novice welcome, you will be guided and mentored by experienced cattle driving and team penning staff.
Lots of history at this old farm, you will want to have this kind of fun without having to go west. The most awesome thing is you bring your own horse.
Power at each site. Community hose for water for your trailer. Stalls for each horse. Small bathhouse on property, but not fancy.
