you must have a physical copy of both your coggins and a health certificate to get your horse on the FWSSR grounds. No exceptions. They will not accept a coggins from your phone.

The cowgirls are attending the Sandhills Rodeo on January 12, 2024. We will meet for dinner at 6:00. The rodeo starts at 7:30.

Our monthly Grub night will be on January 25, 2024 at Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant on Foothill Blvd. We will be discussing upcoming events, year end awards party, holiday party, slush funds, memberships and much more. Graham TX chapter is participating in the grand entry for the 11:00 am FWSSR rodeo performance. We are allowed 5 trailer spaces for our participants. Official parade gear, negative Coggins and health certificate required. Be ready for the police escort to the arena at 10:00 am.
Let’s get our ride on at Jen’s. We will meet at no0n, bring something to eat or snack on and something to drink. There are oil field roads and some could be rocky. If your horse is barefoot, you will probably want boots for your pony. The terrain is mostly sand except the roads. Wonder what kind of critters we might see?m
*** Due to Show Schedule, we have a revised date!*** A few of us will be attending the first of a Series of Ranch Horse Shows at Arrowheart Ranch. Well, it’s a day for women to celebrate their friendships with their lady friends and our club has developed some wonderful lifetime friendships through our horses. Dress up or come in your boots and jeans, it doesn’t matter, let’s go celebrate our friendship!!
Trail Boss, Linda Deas, has organized another weekend for Trail Riding. Plan will be to ride out each morning at 10:30am. This site has pens, electric and water. We decided to donate a buckle for the Sweetwater Ranch Sort Club, and also for the Wild West Outlaws gymkhana 40 and over age group. Slush fund is $492.00. before the deduction for buckles.

Jump on your horse or mule and have some fun while also helping to maintain the trails at Big Mineral. Bring some loppers and a snack. Big Mineral is a pretty rugged ride with some fairly steep hills. Its not rocky though and your steed can go barefoot. Also, theres no fee to ride there.

Turkey Creek Rodeo Club has Started their Open 4D barrel series. Exhibitons start at 4pm-6pm. Youth Barrels will begin at 6:30 entry fee is 35.00. Open Barrels will begin after youth runs entry fee is 45.00. 75% pay out on 1/2 splits this is a buckle series and you must attend 3 of the 5 to qualify for the buckle
Come out and support the up and coming rodeo athletes of Wyoming as they compete for a spot on the state team and attend the national rodeo later this summer. Rodeo action will start on Friday April 19th at 9am with the athletes of the Junior High division. The High School events will be on Saturday & Sunday, April 20 & 21. Saturday evening will also feature a rough stock performance.
All events will take place at the indoor arena at the events complex.
