To get on the roster, we need your name, current 40SC member number and the bib number assigned to you through the sign up link below, in addition to the total mileage ridden. If you do not have a horse, you can also participate by walking/ running the 100 miles.
You can screen shot the app with your mileage, in addition to the sign up response with your bib number. There will be one roster for this event!

Come out and support all the contestants vying for a national title at the super bowl of High School rodeo. Contestants will be from across the United States, 5 Canadian Provinces, Australia, Mexico, & New Zealand. The rodeo will showcase rodeo athletes as they compete for national titles as well as scholarship over $375,00.
Along with the rodeo action there will be a trade show and food vendors.
We will be attending to watch our Members compete. Join us there and let’s have a large cheering section! Let us know you are coming… other Plans to be determined!?!?

Let’s have fun with the horses on some obstacles. There will be obstacles set up in the front pasture, arena and warm up pens will be open for riding. The church is going to have 3 Friday night events, 2 practices June and then a timed competition on August 16th that will be a patterned jackpot format. The flyer can be found on Brazos Trails FB page or Poolville Chapter page.
Come on out and share the covered arena for a morning of peaceful, comfortable, riding and training!! We will be here to help and assist, or just travel the trails in the dirt!! If you need assistance, do not hesitate to ask. Casual fun day… bring your preferred drinks and snacks for fellowship after riding!! Float the Green River in Saluda, NC
Let’s stay cool floating the Green River at 5200 Green River Cove Rd.,Saluda, NC. We will carpool there and arrive there by 10:00 to start our adventure. After our float which takes about 2-3 hours, we can have lunch in the cute town of Saluda or at the Tryon Equestrian Center!
Join in on the fun of the local county fair. From livestock shows to fair food, exhibits, vendors, the carnival and concerts there is a little bit of something for everyone.

ABOUT THE VENUE: Tamarind Ranch is a 25 acre property that hosts a sand round pen, 72×31 covered area with excellent footing. 15 acres of forested trails are available for trail rides and walks. Self contained/dry camping is allowed. Personal portable corrals are acceptable and can be set up near your campsites. We offer boarding that includes 5 stalls and 5 paddocks and 1 medical bay stall and pasture board. In addition to the registration fee paid to ETS a $10 facility fee will be collected the day of the event to support the ranch.
EVENT DETAILS: This 2 day event challenge will consist of 3 events: In hand, Obstacle Trail, and Trail Challenge.
Rentals for stalls and dry camping are available and should be reserved when you register. 5- 12×12 stalls, 5- 12×18 paddocks (not covered). 15 dry camping spots. Personal portable corrals are acceptable and can be set up near your campsites.
SCHEDULE: FRIDAY: Gates open on Friday 3:00-8:00pm.; 1:00pm Early arrival check in for camping set up; 6:00pm Pizza & salad dinner will be available. SATURDAY: 7-8:30am NEW ARRIVAL CHECK IN; 9am Rider Meeting. SUNDAY: 7-8:30am NEW ARRIVAL CHECK IN; 9am Rider Meeting.
SATURDAY MORNING: In hand: the event obstacles are completed dismounted. You may be saddled, halters with leads are recommended. All non-riding equines are welcome and encouraged to compete! With at least 8 obstacles in the event.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON: Obstacle Trail: Any combination of pasture, arena, and trail (2-4 miles) with at least 8 obstacles. Multiple horses per rider may be allowed at host discretion. Please verify with the Event Manager to see if their schedule will allow for multiple horses.
SUNDAY MORNING: Trail Challenge- A relaxing trail ride with judged obstacles placed in camp and on trail. Ride at a leisurely pace with friends and family. Enjoy the sites as you improve your horsemanship skills. With at least 6 or more obstacles along the trail. One horse and rider per event. This event will take place at Jamestown/Three Beats Farm across the street from Tamarind Ranch.
THE TERRAIN: There is a variety of terrain throughout the property.

Meet us at the Buck’s Grave Road Trailhead at 9:30, riding out by 10:00. No restroom nor water at the trailhead. These trails located in Chester County, SC is surrounded by beautiful wooded floodplain, surrounded by upland pine woods and maturing hardwood forests. Some hills an a few rocky/roots areas. Boots or shoes recommended.
We ride out promptly at 10am! Trailer parking behind the Benbrook Stables. turn on Stevens Road to access (right off 377-Dutch Branch Park entrance) then left on Lake Shore.

$600.00 for New Memberships with a $250 Guest Pass available. Membership includes covered seating, refreshments and hors d’oeuvres, for each of the Farm-City Pro Rodeo nightly performances.

Cowgirls will be attending the Douglas County Mounted Posse meeting. This is another equestrian group in the area, and we attend so we can also help support their efforts in the horse community here.

Dust yer boots off and join us for line dancing at Workmans bar and grill. No experience necessary they provide instruction and teach two dances. Dancing starts at 7 pm but we are meeting at 6 to get food and drink

Each day, participants will receive 2 one on one sessions with their horse. Due to the individualized teaching, they welcome participants of all skill levels. Their niche is liberty and bridleless riding, but participants are welcome to use their sessions as they’d like.
This clinic will end with liberty games Sunday Afternoon!
Cost: Participants $675 for 3 days, Auditors $35 per day.

Joel Conner Horsemanship. Phenomenal teacher and student of the horse. Empowers the horse and the horseman.
This year’s clinic will be held Friday through Sunday, August 9-11, 2024.
We will once again have 3 3-hour sessions per class (that’s 9 hours of work per class). The Groundwork class will be from 9am – 12pm each of the 3 days, and the Riding class will be from 1:30pm – 4:30pm each of the 3 days.
Bring your own lunch, plenty of water, and SUNSCREEN! We will likely be working a bit outside, weather permitting.
Each class (Groundwork or Riding) is $450.00 for all three days, or $800.00 total to do both classes.
We require a deposit of $225.00 requested to hold your space PER CLASS, or a $400.00 deposit if you are signing up for both.
There will be a daily fee of $10.00 per horse for stalls OR outdoor pens, and you will be required to provide shavings for your stalls (indoor only) as well as daily cleaning and end-of-clinic stripping of your stall, but as usual I will feed for you 2x/day with your own hay and grain/supplements, if desired.
