Come join us for a Ride. Location will change each month. This will be a location within 1-3hrs from Greenwood. We will ride for 2-4 hours and maybe have lunch after. Come and join us for as much or as little as you want. Some cowgirls may only ride an hour and others longer!

East Texas Stock Horse Show! Come out and show off your skills and horsemanship. East Texas Stock Horse Association has continued to provide an excellent show series and trainers. This has provided our COWGIRLS with great information and examples in the Stock Horse show pen. Come out and support your fellow COWGIRLS as they show off their skills and horsemanship!
As with any competition, interest grows and our COWGIRLS are honing their skills. Come out and cheer on our fellow COWGIRLS or participate in this great Association. Join us for a fun filled weekend. Pick your events and competition level and show off what your skills. Monthly clinics are held the Friday before the Show weekend, so make sure you attend to learn what the judges are looking for at that weekend show.

After the parade we will meet up for lunch at Mi Cocina before heading back home. Lots of room for parking trailers. Please let us know if you are going to join us so that we can give them a headcount ahead of time. Deadline to RSVP is Wednesday , January 10.
We have a monthly Craft night on the 3rd Tuesday of Every Month. They will be held at Joy Haut’s house. We will select the craft during our Monthly Roundup the previous month, to give Joy time to get all the supplies.
January – We will be making Valentine’s Day decor – A rag garland and Gnomes.
Come join us for our Monthly Meeting and hear all about the fun things we do as a club.
We have lots of fun things planned and we will work on planning more events so bring all your ideas to the table and lets hear all about them.
We will also have a raffle at the end of the meeting and you won’t want to miss out on that for we have fun prizes to be won! 1 ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20. Come join us at Queen Candace’s for some fun games! We will switch it up from time to time on what games we are playing, but it will always be a great time. Bring a snack to share, Punch and water will be provided.
January – BackFire – If you don’t know how to play, we will teach you. It is really pretty easy, and fun!!
Events: Barrels, Poles, Speed Barrels, Bi Rangle
Age groups: Lead Line, 8 and under, 9-12, 13-17, 18-39, and 40+.
$15 per event/$10 office fee. $5 per expo
You can enter just one event or all four, your choice!
Payouts for each individual event in a 3D format. Leadline 10am all events. Expos will run before every event after Leadline.
Lone Star Equine Solutions will be doing a private De-Spooking clinics just for 40SC. Limited spots available.
This clinic will cover horse physiology and psychology. Class time learning the physical attributes of the horse relating to equine vision. Mounted obstacles and sensory training with fire lines, smoke, canisters, gunfire, and more.
Cost: $100 or $115 if the clinic is relocated to a covered arena due to inclement weather. 8 hour day with lunch provided. $25 non-refundable deposit due at registration.
This clinic will be at your own pace and open to all skill levels and disciplines. You can walk your horse if you prefer.

What is Galentine’s Day you might ask? Well, it’s a day for women to celebrate their friendships with their lady friends and our club has developed some wonderful lifetime friendships through our horses. We had to postpone the ride at Joy’s due to weather, So we have adjusted it and we are going to San Angelo State Park Saturday instead. Some people are going Fri-Sun – come when you can. We will have a group ride on Saturday at 10 AM .
We are all going to start off at Joy‘s house, as a meeting point, and then head out from there. Be in your saddle by 6 PM so we can get out and have a good ride before it gets dark.
