Please join us in kicking off 2024 together.  The Royalty would like to present to our membership our 2024 Calendar of Events – RSVP is essential!

Come out and join us for our first ride of the year. Moss Lake has trails for all level of riders.  One of our favorite go to places to ride.  If weather is permitting.  All are welcome

Trail Ride the beautiful Vasquez Rocks park.  This ride is sponsored by ETI Corral 86  If you are not a current member there will be a $10 fee for insurance due at the time of the ride.

3 hour trail ride in Lake View Terrace, led by Jeanne Mather.  Flyer to be sent to all current cowgirls after our Calendar Reveal on the 12th, save the date!

Come join us for our monthly gathering,  we will discuss past events and plan future adventures.  Location is yet to be determined, but will be decided soon.  All are welcome

Come out and ride with us as we explore Little Sister Ashleys half section.  Bring your own beverages and snacks…  Weather permitting.  All are welcome

Come out  and join in on the celebration at the VA Hospital in Big Spring.  The new community center on the VA campus is done and we were invited to attend.  All Cowgirls are welcome.  Pink button down shirts please… Hats optional as we will be inside.

Come on over to the tattoo shop and get some ink done.  We will have several Cowgirls coming in for new tattoos as well as some touch-ups..  All are welcome…

Horse Bowl Trivia game night, prizes, food and fun.

Trail ride in Griffith Park, lunch at the mexican restaurant.  This ride is sponsored by ETI Corral 86.  If you are not a current ETI member there will be a $10 insurance fee.

Come join in on the fun at the VA with some bingo and a Valentines Day Party…. All are welcome.  We will meet up and decorate before the guys get there for bingo.  Pink button downs please…. All are welcome… Contact Terri for all the details…

Come out and join us as we ride at another one of our favorite places.  Trails for all levels of riders… Will have a pot luck dinner on Saturday.  Weather permitting… All are welcome.

Sweetheart Ride – Coed Event.  $25.00 per couple, $15.00 per single cowgirl.  We will be doing about a 4 hour trail ride with lunch/dessert following, champagne too!

Volunteer Services for Hot Mess Horse and Animal Rescue – Cowgirls have been asked to assist with fencing and animal care. We are meeting at the rescue on Old Murphy Road. All materials are on site for the fence repair, which is needed to separate the horses from the cows, goats, and alpacas. Laura Thornton has offered to pay and declined payment since earning and fundraising for horse rescues is very difficult. We are honored to show cowgirl generosity and compassion to the owner and these deserving animals. We welcome cowgirls and their families to donate time and services to this amazing rescue in the heart of our community

Trail ride at the back side of Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, exploring new areas and trails. Lady Splipper and Lake Russell trails are nestled amongst the beautiful foothills of Northeast Georgia. Meeting at the end of the road of Cannon Rd, which is just past Frady Branch Equine main trail parking.

Day trail ride at Frady Branch – Chattahoochee National Forest, Toccoa, Ga. – 14.5 miles of trails and four separate loops to explore. Meet at the trailhead parking area at 10 am. There is a

$ 5-a-day use fee which you can buy a yearly pass from USDA Forest Service. Bring lunch, snacks, and drinks.  See ya on the trail

Meet at Hurricane Creek Parking Area at 10am, and we will ride out up Hurrican Creek or to Albert Mountain. Bring plenty of drinks, snacks, luft, and horsey treats.  Standing Indian National FOrest is off Hwy 64 Between Franklin and Hayesville. Contact Tammy for any questions

Come join us at the 66th Annual Worlds Largest Rattlesnake Round-up…  Even if you don’t like snakes, it’s always a great weekend.  All kinds of information about the nasty death noodles, but also, all kinds of vendors and food… Again, a fun, informative family weekend… All are welcome…If you go, just take a picture of you there and send it to Terri….

Calling all Cowgirls, We are bringing our horses to the VA hospital for some outside  therapy for our favorite group of veterans.  If you are interested, please only bring a CALM horse…  The horses will be groomed, walked out and loved on, no riding.  ALL Cowgirls are encouraged to join us, especially if you are not bringing a horse, we need hands on the ground.. Please wear pink button downs, hats optional…We will park in the back west end parking lot…

Meeting at the Alumni Building before we start coggins clinic over at Fairgrounds. Please bring your suggestions and ideas for rides, camping trips, summer horse swimming, and Christmas parties. I truly want to set up a Christmas gathering date at this meeting. And I want to discuss the amazing success our chapter has had and the positive impacts we are making in our community.

3rd Annual Coggins clinic for Macon and surrounding counties. Dr. Jessica Scruggs, DVM will provide services. cowgirls will assistance to horse owners and Dr. Jessica. will assist with paperwork and handling of horses.

Come join us as we explore more of Little Sister Ashleys property.   Please bring a sack lunch or snacks and your favorite beverage…  All are welcome…

Day trail ride off Cannon Rd & FR 92E- Chattahoochee National Forest, Toccoa, Ga. –  meet at 10am, saddle up and head out exploring the endless trails, waterfalls,  and forest roads. Bring lunch, snacks, and water. Dogs allowed in this area. Trails are easy and shoes not needed here.

Come out and join in on the fun at the start of this sorting series for 2024… Text entries available the Friday before the event from 8am-6pm… Series runs from from March thru August. Finals in August.  Pays 1st-3rd places.  20$ per run. Pick and draws up to 8 runs.  Open and novice classes and youth will be available if enough riders.  Prizes at the finals: 1st Open-saddle, 2nd Open-buckle, 3rd Open-breast collar.  1st Novice-buckle, 2nd Novice-buckle, 3rd Novice-breast collar..  All are welcome

Meet at Whetstone parking area at 10:30, we’ll saddle up ride out to Adeline and possibly cross river if super low, if not we’ll make loop and go out through Spring house, climb the ridge and head back to parking area. 5 to 6 hr ride so bring food, lunch, snacks, and a lot of water. Trails are easy to moderate in difficulty.

Come out and join us at Cowgirl Karlas house… Practice obstacles in the arena, or go for a trail ride, or both… Please bring your favorite beverage…  All are welcome..

Meet at Whetstone Parking lot at 10:30, we’ll cross the river at Earls Ford into Georgia and ride entire big loop on Georgia side. We’ll follow river trail from Adeline and back down to Earls for crossing back over river back into South Carolina and back to parking area. Bring tons of snacks, lunch, and water. Shoes recommended on Ga side, trails are easy to moderate difficulty.

Meet at Hurricane Creek Parking Area at 10am, and we will ride out across creek jump on Big Indian Trail. Bring your chainsaws and hand saws. This will be first ride since winter storms. Bring saddles with water and food.

Robbinsville Community Coggins clinic for Graham and surrounding counties. Dr. Jessica Scruggs, DVM will provide services. cowgirls will assistance horse owners and Dr. Jessica.  We provide all advertising, forms, chairs, canopies, and tables, and will assist with paperwork and handling of horses. Bring your big trailers for comfort and bathroom facilities.  This is another community volunteer project so I hope all you cowgirls can come. Please wear your Cowgirls shirts or pink shirts to represent out 40SC chapter

This clinic will be in a large parking lot at Midway Tire and Automotive 185 Sweetwater Rd, Robbinsville, NC

We will meet at Hot Spot in Franklin or New Ingles and convoy over the mountains.

Macon County Horse Association Spring Fun Show. 10 a.m. at Fairgrounds.  There will be all the normal fun show activities plus speed events. Come out and play with your horses and challenge yourself with these fun games. There will be a concession stand with food & drinks so remember to bring cash. I would suggest lawn chairs, coolers with water & drink, snacks, and plenty of stuffed hay bags. You can even bring pop-up shade tents..  contact me or Lynda for info and/or directions.
