Cowgirls let’s get together and plan our yearly calendar. We can meet at Back Country Tack shop, do some shopping and have a great BBQ lunch for 7$. Let’s support our community businesses. Bring some good ideas! This is your chapter! See you around noon. Bring a friend!
1/15/24 Update: Since we had to reschedule the January 13, 2024 FYFS and Browband Workshops to January 27, 2024, Cowgirl Liz has offered to host our January meeting at her house in conjunction with the other events. Our January meeting will be held at 12:30. Immediately following the meeting will be the FYFS workshop and then, browband making.
Please email for location and additional information. This meeting will be held at a private residence, and we will not be publicly posting the address.
Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled from 1/13/24 to 1/27/24.
One of our cowgirls is hosting a equitation workshop at 1 PM at her private residence. At 3 PM, the same member will host a browband making workshop. Space available for 6-10 participants. Cost is about $10 for leather, plus any bling you would like to add.

Drill team, trick riding, cowboy history, parade of hounds, fox hunting, mounted archery, trail safety, vendors. This expo covers it all. Come out and support the SC horse council. 10am to 4pm.

Cowgirls we’re going to ride Saturday at Fell Hunt Camp, 1369 Cedar Springs Rd, Bradley, SC. You can start either at the Fell camp or from Toni Vonruden’s house 181 Tuck Rd, Bradley SC., at the top of the trail. Camp if you like, primitive. 10$. We will have a chili dinner at Toni”s when we arrive there. If you’re leaving from campground, be ready to ride at 11am. Rendezvous is a state sponsored event put on by Back Country Horsemen of Washington that is open to the public. This is a non-riding event. We offer educational classes, shopping, social and informative events and seminars. There are no fees for anything other than the Saturday nights catered dinner and the on-site camping. Come join the Laurens Club memorial for Mr Shull, spring ride. Primitive camping, generators allowed. Steak dinner on Saturday night with entertainment. Sandy road trails mostly.
