We will be participating, again, in the 2nd Annual Horse EXPO at Longhorn Arena in Greenville, TX. This Expo event will include Horse Products Vendors, Sale Horse Alley, Food Vendors, Demonstrations, New & Used Tack, Stallion Exhibits, and Horse Health. Farmersville will have a booth and represent 40 Something Cowgirls!! We will also attend and participate in EXPO Demonstrations. The 2023 1st Annual EXPO was a huge success for our Chapter!! PLAYDAY SERIES includes barrels, poles, straight away barrels, and one mystery event.
Age divisions: Lead Line, 0-8 years, 9-13 years, 14-18 years, 19-30 years, and 31-49, and 50+
$5 per event, $5 per exhibition, 2 free exhibitions w/church attendance, $20 one time series fee.
12:30-1:30pm registration and exhibitions, 1:45pm lead line starts, 2:30pm begin on poles for rest age groups.

Tammy is hosting Barn BQ Round Up Meeting. Bring a lawn chair, your favorite cocktail, and come enjoy good Ole fashioned baroque feast and discuss the upcoming year, plan some teail rides, win some raffle prizes, and just relax around the fireplace. Parking along the side of the Barn, Tammy’s driveway, and areas, marked.
Come on out and share the covered arena for a morning of peaceful, comfortable, riding and training!! We will be here to help and assist, or just travel the trails in the dirt!! If you need assistance, do not hesitate to ask. Casual fun day… bring your preferred drinks and snacks for fellowship after riding!! Please do not forget to sign Arena Waiver and drop your $20 for Honor System payments!
Our Cowgirls will be attending this Clinic offered by LONE STAR EQUINE SOLUTIONS for assistance with horse respect and confidence. Mounted obstacles including fire lines, smoke canisters, gunfire, and more, will be provided. Please sign up quick if you are interested. Deposit is required, if not paid in full. Come join us for an evening full of fun, laughter, and planning of future events. Cedar Hollow Winery is a very welcoming place for a gathering with great food and tasty wine along with the most amazing employees who make you feel at home.
Bring your ideas to the table for fun things to do with or without our horses. We need to plan our Christmas party, for that will be upon us soon!!
We will also do our raffle for an awesome prize. 1 ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20. If you would like an extra ticket to better your chances with the purchase of your ticket/tickets……..bring in a nonperishable item to donate to the cowboy church for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday for families in need.
And in final summary, our participating Members will wrap up their competition 2024 year back at Henderson County Fair Grounds in Athens!!! Come out and cheer them on! Your appearance and support is greatly appreciated!
As our interest grows and our Chapter Members develop their Ranch Competition skills, we will continue to participate in this great East Texas Stock Horse association!! Join us there for a fun, event-filled weekend. Pick your Classes, enter at your level, participate and learn. Monthly Clinics are often held to offer knowledge and training improvements. **PRIVATE PARTY** Cowgirl Kelly has kindly opened her home for us to celebrate our friendship that we have developed over the years through 40SC. It’s amazing how horses have brought us together.
Kelly will be providing the turkey and ham and the rest of us will sign up to bring other dishes to make this a wonderful Friendsgiving day. So, come join us and share your story of how you became a cowgirl and why you joined 40SC and what you are thankful for in the group.
This Show Prep Clinic will be offered by Roxie Bernbaum of Hillside Performance Horses!! It will cover the basics of getting your horse, and you, ready to start showing. It will cover terminology, what the judges look for, important points for each class, etc. Q&A will be highly welcomed and supported. Clinic Audit will also be permitted at $25 per person. There are exotic animals and loud music playing so please make sure your horse will tolerate it. There will be cars following us through the display.

Join us for the Wylie Christmas Parade! Let’s show our Christmas spirit and decorate our horses! We will be parking in the vacant grassy lot off of Birmingham st. We NEED designated manure scoopers for the parade. We also will need a volunteer to carry our chapter banner.
Join us for dinner after the Wylie Christmas Parade! It has been a tradition for 3yrs now to have tacos after the parade! There is parking at the back of the parking lot or in the Burger King parking lot next door.
Per the TRCC information page, Mark your calendars!! The first Ranch competition at TRCC will take place this December 14th! Patterns to be posted approximately 2 weeks in advance. Prizes to be won by 1st place winners in each class and age group! Classes include W/T Ranch Trail, W/T Ranch Riding, and Open Ranch Riding. Divisions include Youth (18U), Adult (19-49), and 50+ !! And of course, a Negative Coggins Report is required.

Stop and have breakfast with us before we head out to Train Robber Ranch with the Troup Chapter! Bucee’s is next door so if you don’t have a taste for Whataburger, grab a Bucee’s breakfast burrito!
It’s that time again!!!! We will be heading out on 4/10/25 for our annual retreat. This will be our 4th year of going and making memories together!!
This is a PRIVATE Chapter Retreat.
Plans will be made for caravanning and carpooling the closer we get to our trip as well as dinner plans.
