The 2024 BISD Homecoming Parade will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Float lineup starts at 6 p.m. Designated line-up location for Breck40SC will be assigned a few days prior to event and distributed via the group chat. All the usual parade requirements apply–Pink dress shirts, pink leg wraps, etc. Please let your queen or princess know if you are a non-rider and would like to participate. We can always include walkers (the route is short) or a logo truck. Contact Gentry Wimberly for more information

The YWCA Victims Advocacy Center is hosting their 1st Annual Heroes and Heels event in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness month. The event will take place on September 28th at Bunning Hall Freight Station from 6pm-10pm and will feature local heroes.

Come join us for dinner and a time to discuss upcoming events. We need to wrap up final thoughts for the Harvest Obstacle Course fundraiser. This is gonna be such a fun event. Join us as we kick off the winter series of Wild West Outlaws Gymkhanas, on October 26, 2024 in the indoor arena at Sweetwater Events Complex. Entry fees are $10 per event. Great way to keep your horses in shape thru the winter months. Same as last year, earn points for end of season awards. Call Susan Nichols for more information.
The public is invited to come play on the posse’s trail course with prizes for the best costume (awarded at NOON).
Divisions: 12 and under, 1-17, and 18+ Top costume in each division wins $50!

Introduction to Cattle at Flying M Stables in Olympia, WA, put on by Tracking Y Ranch.
Limited to 20 Spots at $90 per person. Registration is required, non-refundable payment due at registration, (refundable if vendor cancels the event)
Registration closes the Friday a week prior to the Intro to Cattle event, a minimum of 10 riders is needed or date may be cancelled (there will be one event each month, November 2024 through April 2025!)

Horse/rider will gain experience of basic cattle maneuvering skills and sorting positions in the confines of a sorting pen. Great for horses and riders new to cattle work.
