We have a monthly Craft night on the 3rd Tuesday of Every Month. They will be held at Joy Haut’s house. We will select the craft during our Monthly Roundup the previous month, to give Joy time to get all the supplies.
January – We will be making Valentine’s Day decor – A rag garland and Gnomes.

1:00-4:oo will be craft time. Blank gourds will be supplied along with availability of some paints and drilling/cutting/sanding tools. Do a little research beforehand and come prepared with a design in mind. Several design books are available to help with ideas.

Our monthly Grub night will be on January 25, 2024 at Los Cabos Mexican Restaurant on Foothill Blvd. We will be discussing upcoming events, year end awards party, holiday party, slush funds, memberships and much more. Bring a friend and if they join, you get a free dinner. Susan won the basket so she will be bringing the raffle basket this month. Hope to see you there.

Some of y’all have been wanting to paint these horseshoes. We can gather around and do a little crafting and alot of laughing. If you have any old horseshoes, bring them, if not we will have some there.
Join us for Amy Weber’s Birthday and tackle the Hot Chocolate Run at Fair Park in Dallas!! Amy has completed this a couple of times and has good advice. Sign up early and take advantage of early sign-up Discounts… by December 3rd for best discount!! If you do not want to participate, you can come, shop at the Vendor Expo, and cheer others at the Finish Line. You should also know, parking is very crowded. Get there early and be prepared. Well, it’s a day for women to celebrate their friendships with their lady friends and our club has developed some wonderful lifetime friendships through our horses. Cowgirl Jennie Vayo is setting up an opportunity for you to participate in a Night Ride Obstacle Clinic at Legacy Ranch in Lone Oak. This Clinic will be offered by Hunt County Sheriff’s Posse, under the direction of David and Terry Rogers. It is limited to ten (10) riders, so sign-up quickly. If weather is prohibitive, it will be rescheduled. Come on out… new opportunity, new experience!!
Let’s have fun with the horses on some obstacles. The church is going to have 3 events, 2 practices and the one in April will be a patterned jackpot format. The flyer can be found on Brazos Trails FB page or Poolville Chapter page.

Monthly dinner gathering will be at Los Cabos on February 27, 2024 at 6:30 pm. Kari won the basket, so she will bring it to this dinner. We decided to donate a buckle for the Sweetwater Ranch Sort Club, and also for the Wild West Outlaws gymkhana 40 and over age group. Slush fund is $492.00. before the deduction for buckles.

bring your horses to ride after we set up all of the obstacles , it’ll be fun
Come join us for some really fun obstacle practice on Friday and then enter the fun jackpot on Saturday. There will be divisions depending on number entered to spread the winnings to all levels of horses and riders! We’ll have an in-hand and a riding class! Practice is from 6-10 Friday, come and go as you can. It’ll be open group practice to work on whatever you need. We will have approximately 20 obstacles to work on. Bring your babies, bring your seasoned horses. Practice in hand or mounted! We’ll be there to help you and your horse along! It’s going to be a GREAT time!!

This will be our second obstacle play day at Kim’s house. If you didn’t come the first time, you missed out on a good time. Kim has an unbelieve obstacle course set up at her home and changes it up on a weekly basis. This course will be a St. Patty’s Day Theme. It’s $40 per person and you need to bring a side dish to go with Taco Soup for our potluck lunch!

The 23rd Annual Northwest Horse Fair & Expo will be held at the Linn Co. Fair & Expo Center in Albany, OR March 22-24, 2023.
The event is a three-day horse fair and exposition, attracting horse owners and enthusiasts from Oregon and the surrounding states and Canada.
