Let’s get our ride on at Jen’s.  We will meet at no0n, bring something to eat or snack on and something to drink.  There are oil field roads and some could be rocky.  If your horse is barefoot, you will probably want boots for your pony.  The terrain is mostly sand except the roads.  Wonder what kind of critters we might see?m

Jump on your horse or mule and have some fun while also helping to maintain the trails at Big Mineral. Bring some loppers and a snack. Big Mineral is a pretty rugged ride with some fairly steep hills. Its not rocky though and your steed can go barefoot. Also, theres no fee to ride there.

July Chapter Meeting! Come join us for dinner and discuss our chapter!

Let’s cool off during the hottest month of the year! Give the horses a break. Swim, tube, and have lunch at cowgirl Donna Mayeur’s home in Seneca SC Lake Keowee. Bring your favorite dish, a towel, and bathing suit.

Social gathering, guests and public welcome.   Music and adult beverages available.  A great way to cool off after our weeks of unbearably hot weather, chat with our cowgirl sisters, and make plans for when/where our next trails rides will happen.

National Night Out is an annual community building event that promotes police, community partnership and neighborhoods camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer , more caring places to live

We’ll have hot dogs, chips, lemonade, cookies, games , a movie to watch with popcorn , and horses for the kids to pet

so bring your lawn chair and let’s  meet and support our amazing local law enforcement Agencies

Come join us for some Texas BBQ and Meet and Greet!

Let’s get together and get to know each other and find out what we are all about. We can use the time to discuss ideas for future rides, events and fun.

We will have a raffle item $$1.00 per ticket.

Bring your digital camera or smart phone and find the top surveyed answers to questions to chose from along the trail. Compete as an individual.

Riders out at 9-11 am. Riders will leave in intervals and Ride route is 2 -2 1/2 hours long. Finish by 2pm. Intervals intended to control congestion on the trails.

Riders must return to later than 2pm to turn in their results. Prizes awarded after 2pm.

Bring your lunch; lemonade, water and treats provided.

Shoes for horses are recommended. Children are encouraged to wear helmets and dogs must be on a leash.

Entry Fees: $30 per rider; under 12 years of age $10. cash or check. Day use park parking fee is $5; or purchase an annual permit. *Join OET at this event with the purchase of a single or family membership and recieve one free entry to this event. (Memberships will include 2025; annual memberships are: single $30, family $35).

Prizes Awarded: For individuals with the most points awarded in the Survey, for First, Second, and Third Place. Judges decisions are final. There will also be raffle prizes. Each entrant receives a raffle ticket for this drawing.

this year we have been asked to help with the Brown County , Bull Bash Rodeo  Queen Contestants

will help with sign ups and help Crown the new Bull Bash Queen on September , 28th

We are going to do something a little different……Today is the 1st day of Fall so we are going to say goodbye to summer and start the Fall season off right by having one last pool party at Cowgirl Kelly’s house. We will also include our monthly meeting this day. Rsvp Christy at 469-682-6207 for address for we do not publicize personal addresses on public events.

Bring a dish to share along with whatever drink you would like to have. Also bring your towel and maybe even your own folding chair. Hope to see you all there!

Meeting for the new Back Country Horseman Southern Highlands will be held in Fanklin this month at the Clarks Chapel Fire Station in the community meeting room. The meeting will start at 6:30 pm and last a couple of hours, so bring your own drinks and snacks, and note pad to take notes on important events to come. Also you can pay your dues at this meeting as well
